See it if You appreciate outstanding talent. Really - the performances were pretty great. Loved the songs (you probably know most of them).
Don't see it if You are not a fan of jukebox musicals (though this is a pretty good one).
See it if You are looking for an original, brilliant production. It’s absorbing and does what theater is supposed to do: It transports you.
Don't see it if You do not like Harry Potter. (You don’t need to be an expert or have read/seen all of the books or movies to enjoy the show.)
See it if You are looking for a feel good, uplifting show. There are lots of laughs and a bunch of very talented performers on the stage.
Don't see it if You are uncomfortable with LGBTQ issues. But if you are uncomfortable with LGBTQ issues what are you doing in a theater?
See it if You like an intelligent, spare, beautiful show.
Don't see it if You want crazy costumes, high energy choreography, and loud, in your face songs.
See it if You like innovative and smart theater with engaging acting.
Don't see it if You want action. The show is 3 and 1/2 hours of non-stop talking.
See it if You love a beautiful score, Laura Benanti, beautiful sets, and a wonderful interpretation of a classic.
Don't see it if I can’t imagine anyone disliking this production.
See it if You like engaging, smart, and multi-layered plays.
Don't see it if You can’t handle a long (though it doesn’t feel long) show with accented English.
See it if You want a serious evening of theater highlighted by excellent acting. I see a lot of theater and this one man show was quite good.
