China Doll
Midtown W
Center on the Aisle

"While Mamet has an extraordinary career as a playwright, 'China Doll' is not his greatest work, but theater aficionados will certainly get a taste for the renown and distinctive Mamet style of dialogue which is often marked by street smart, cynical and intelligently-crafted composition. While the play as a whole may not be superb in content or subtext there are elements that are absolutely incredible and transcend the show’s shortcomings." Full Review

I Of the Storm
West Village

for a previous production “A spectacular show that takes the audience on a journey of self-discovery. Richard Hoehler does a splendid job of captivating the audience through his enthralling performance....The fact that Hoehler's performance is so strong throughout the entire show is a remarkable feat...RJ Bartholomew did an incomparable job writing the play. The fact that Bartholomew touched upon such poignant lessons in such a charismatic, fresh way - as if with ease - is absolutely worthy of admiration.” Full Review

Lucky Chick

for a previous production "Sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll take center stage in a one-woman play...The play exhibits an incredibly strong and exciting script that is fast-paced and keeps the audience wanting more. Overall, Seidel's acting was strong, but there are times when her performance falls flat. However, these moments should not deter one from watching the play since the story is truly one-of-a-kind."
