See it if you like ALW. It's classic musical nonsense with a thin plot. The music is catchy if you can find a theater that plays it a little faster.
Don't see it if you're a dog person. Or want a plot.
See it if you like catchy songs and being reminded that being a kid was wondrous and perilous and magical.
Don't see it if you don't like kids singing or are the type of theater goer who has to point out how special effects work.
See it if you love old school education shows and can laugh at the sad husk of a human we all have become.
Don't see it if you don't like slutty puppets or masturbating cookie monsters.
See it if you love Disney. This version translates to the stage very well and can be a technical and aural treat for you.
Don't see it if you don't like Disney or damsels in distress scenarios.
See it if you like a song heavy musical with an interesting and sobering story. Also good if you like classic what-if story telling.
Don't see it if you want to leave your fairy tales as well enough alone. Probably not the best for small children either.
See it if you like watching emotional train wrecks where everything gets worse with each minute. Also, if you love getting invested in people's lives.
Don't see it if you want a feel good story. It's almost overwrought, but it does it in a way that is incredibly engaging.
