“The traditional escape-room experience…on steroids...The last room that my group entered was my favorite. I don’t want to spoil too much, but let’s just say that there is a dead man, and I put my arms in his stomach…‘Paradiso’ wants to pack a lot of story into the game play. Yet in reality, I missed most of it because I was busy trying to solve the puzzles...Despite my complaints about 'Paradiso,' I will say one thing–it is truly immersive.” Full Review
"Have you ever been completely confused by an experience, but somehow enjoyed it anyways? That’s exactly how I feel as I leave the quirky, high-energy performance of Erin Markey’s 'A Ride On the Irish Cream'...If you support independent, queer theater, you should definitely check this show out." "Faux-Real Theatre doesn’t present the material in an extremely engaging way...The strongest aspect of the play is undoubtedly its namesake, the Bacchae. The group of women work perfectly as a unit, delivering impressively long chunks of text in complete synchronicity...'Bacchae' has plenty of dramatic moments. However, they’re rendered almost silly because of the props...If you want an interactive experience, or even a slightly racy date night, then you’ll leave 'The Bacchae' disappointed." Full Review
