See it if An absolutely superb performance by Jodie Comer. For a stage newcomer, it is absolutely extraordinary work. Strong play, great design work.

Don't see it if You don't want to go through an emotional wringer. It is tough, sometimes harrowing material, but brilliantly handled.

See it if Elaine May is not to be missed. The cast is excellent, and Lonergan's play is by turns funny and heartbreaking.

Don't see it if You cannot handle a play about aging and illness, or are looking for a heavily plot driven play.

See it if ...you want to see a superb cast under Joe Mantello's incisive direction deliver Albee's most personal play.

Don't see it if No reason not to see it. Metcalf and Pill are extraordinary and Jackson is giving the performance of her lifetime. Not to be missed.

See it if You'd enjoy a gorgeously staged play about the healing power of music, with Rylance in great form and stunning arias from Iestyn Davies.

Don't see it if You are looking for a heavily plot-driven piece. This is a character study of two men damaged by public lives they didn't choose.

See it if you want to see an era of black American life recreated in front of your eyes, with no artifice or phoniness.

Don't see it if you need an evening of literalism or a living room play.

See it if you want to learn how to appreciate your life while you're living it. A beautiful, vibrant unexpected adaptation of the Masters' poems.

Don't see it if you can't handle the show's shifting moods, by turns comic, ghostly, poetic, remorseful, ebullient.

See it if Great piece about creating theatre and art in an era of anti-immigration and anti-Semitism. It's about Yiddish theatre, but is universal.

Don't see it if you want to miss the season's most relevant play in the season's best staging of a play, performed by a superb ensemble. Unmissable.
