See it if It was sexy and fun and different. Not being familiar with the original I can’t make comparisons.
Don't see it if I found myself lost at times and confusing the plot with Of Mice and Men which everyone in my group thought was insanity.
See it if Thought I would be disappointed but this producis not as dated as it could have been. And I forgot how many classic song are from this show
Don't see it if You are looking for something new. The dancing didn’t get really good until Act 2 but it more than made up for it
See it if You want to see Ethan Hawke turn into Jeff Bridges.
Don't see it if It was so boring and predictable. I was disappointed that even with 2 heavyweight actors, they could do nothing with the material.
See it if Fan of the movie. Pretty much follows it to a t. Tough I would just think this was "cute" but was very impressed!
Don't see it if Not a fan of the movie. Or can't take an overexcited pre-teen crowd experiencing their first show. The constant phones were frustrating.
See it if Was never a fan of the original but Lincoln Center usually does great things with classics. Costumes and sets (when functional) were loverly
Don't see it if It's long. There were obvious mistakes (including a set malfunction that actually proved to be the highlight). Dancers seemed out of sync.
See it if You like Frozen and are curious for the stage production.

Don't see it if It's slow-paced. Some great acting...some not so great. It felt a bit uneven.
See it if you want to see a "star." Patti and Christine are better than this show. If your only criteria is to see a big name, this is for you.
Don't see it if The music is forgettable, the staging is boring and there is nothing new or exciting about this production.
See it if big, splashy dance numbers, jazz music, predictable romantic storylines
Don't see it if after winning the Tony for best choreography I expected SO MUCH more. It was good but certainly not the best of the season.
See it if I was pleasantly surprised. I was completely drawn into the story and enjoyed this production.
Don't see it if It's a small downtown theater so bear that in mind. But it is an intriguing story and some of the actors are really wonderful.
See it if I'm prefacing this by saying I HATED the movie but was hopeful a musical might change that. Andy Karl was wonderful. Otherwise...
Don't see it if The songs all sound the same. Except for one number in the top of Act 2 that has no place. What was that?
See it if want to see a "star." Glenn Close was great, but she didn't blow me away like I thought she would. Solid performances from the whole cast.
Don't see it if The orchestra on stage took away a lot of real estate.
See it if This had such potential but it seemed so amatuerish. It has some very funny moments. I expected over the top zaniness but it was lacking.
Don't see it if Music is forgettable, only a few standout performances and sets and costumes could have been so so so much more.
See it if I cried (mostly) happy tears straight through. Great staging, and a show with no intermission that flies by. Love, love, love the cleverness
Don't see it if Honestly, unless you are triggered by 9/11 there’s no reason not to see this show.

Don't see it if I can't think of any reason not to see this production.
See it if You are a fan of the cast - who are individually phenomenal.
Don't see it if There is an apparent lack of chemistry between the leads. Sets are so amateur looking. This show could have done with some updating.
See it if You love the source material. Having only seen the HBO series and read the material in college, it was more than I expected.
Don't see it if You can't devote 8 hours to a show. Though it didn't feel lengthy. The times I got most antsy were during the numerous intermissions.
See it if Incredible staging, beautiful and simple sets, costumes, transitions, etc. Great music. Loved all of the technical aspects.
Don't see it if It took me a good 15 minutes to get acclimated to the music. I was totally lost for that first part. Did not love the actual story/plot.
See it if I loved Vanity Fair and was prepared to love this but they missed the core of Elizabeth's personality. But it was a lot of fun!

See it if Want a fun night out at the theater! Appreciate clever takes on Shakespeare. It's cute and charming.
Don't see it if A Shakespeare purist. Otherwise, this is just super fun with an outstanding cast!
See it if Mean Girls meets Shakespeare; great take. The staging was creative and worked well. The acting was terrific.
Don't see it if if you are not familiar with the play. 6 actors (all female) play every parts and can be confusing. Theater is a 4th floor walk up and warm
