Don't see it if If U don't like onstage violence (GUNSHOTS) then skip it. Don't care for epic stories that cover many years & history-in-the-making -WHO R U
See it if OK, it's a Family show from the get-go, but there's as much for the Adults to enjoy as the kids. Julie Taymor's inventive direction works!!
Don't see it if Don't see it if U don't like puppets, or masks protruding from actors heads, or sitting in a audience with a lot of kids around.
See it if Plan on visiting Bdwy regularly? Then U must c this 1 sooner or later, but I say see it sooner so U can use it as yardstick 4 each U c after
Don't see it if Don't like opera-ish or backstage dramas, then U can skip it. Don't like deformed men stealing away the lead girl cause its 2 romantic skip?
See it if Pretty sure I saw this more than once & U should too cause it gets funnier everytime. Only take your adult friends, Lucy the Slut NOT 4 kids
Don't see it if If U don't know the difference between a muppet & the person that's actually doing all the singing, then U may get confused watching this.
See it if As Prospero, Sam Waterston (TV's Law&Order) seems like a good choice. Sadly, he thought he was Polonius (from Hamlet) & lacked the magic.
Don't see it if If U don't like rapid weather changes or risking the threat of a rainout then beware outdoor theater. Skip if standing in line 4 tix grates?
See it if Don't fear BK, there's good theater to b had there! In this case, the Fiasco group were there and if Chemistry is all then they r Everything
Don't see it if Hey it's Shakespeare, if U don't like iambic penta., skip it. Same if don't like using your imagination to fill in the open walled scenery?
See it if Although Patti Lupone was the star of this revival, I caught it late in the run and Jane Curtin (from SNL) was in. The show had its moments.
Don't see it if If U r not into "The THEATER" then the onstage-offstage goings on may not be interesting to you. Also skip if U don't enjoy physical comedy.
See it if My mom made me see this show Pre-Covid & now I enjoy it more than she did. FIRST SHOW back was passionate & unforgettable. "Oh what a Night"

See it if Lucky enuf to see CYMBELINE twice from 2 different angles. Totally nutty play ends with dozens of "revelations" that join the large cast??
Don't see it if If U don't like Shakespeare this is not a good place to start. Also, outdoor theater can be trying if the weather suddenly changes. Read it?
See it if FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (2004) had non-Jewish Alfred Molina as Tevye but I thought he was fine. Then Harvey Fierstein took over & he added humor
Don't see it if Well, Anti-semitic folk might want to skip it, but anyone that's dealt with TRADITIONS both old & new can appreciate this historical story?
See it if Lucky enuf to c COLOR PURPLE several times during it's orig. 2005-08 run. Replacement Fantasia Barrino was my fave as the emotional Celie

Don't see it if Skip this one if U hate young children hamming it up or wealthy people doing good or basically the Old City of New York * Prez Hoover(ville)
See it if This is 1 of those shows that U like cause it allows Chita Rivera to return to the Bdwy stage. The plot & the songs are ok, but CHITA is all
Don't see it if No Chita?? Why bother. A revenge plot may be entertaining to mean-spirited folks, maybe even longtime fans of Kander & Ebb, but beyond that?
See it if I'm spoiled I guess. I saw Idina Menzel as "ELphaba," Kristin Chenoweth as "Glinda" and Joel Grey as "The Wizard." Maybe a film someday??
Don't see it if Don't see it if U don't have a vagina (just kidding). However, if U don't like "The Wizard of Oz"?? Animal-haters stay away or color green?
See it if I had a really bad seat where the overhang kept me from seeing the 3rd floor of the massive set. Why I did c showed why Steppenwolf is aces!

Don't see it if If U don't like Sting's music then U might not care for this. If U don't like hearing a Priest say the "F-word" then skip it.
See it if I saw the cast in Central Park before they transferred to Broadway and they were FANTASTIC. The energy was phenomenal & the young cast KILLD
Don't see it if If U hated the 60's then this won't be your cup of tea. And taking an outdoor show indoors may dampen the effect (see other reviews).
See it if Surprisingly, I landed a good seat for BILLY ELLIOT (thanx Mom), but had a hard time understanding the thick North-England accents??
Don't see it if Don't go if U don't like watching kids on Broadway, or if U don't like ballet or Elton John's style of music<-songs sound like his pop hits
See it if I saw all "3" casts, but of course the Gandolfini-lead quartet that opened the show were the best, mainly cause they helped adapt the story?
Don't see it if Don't see it if U don't like adults behaving badly. Also there is a brief vomiting scene that weak stomachs may want to skip. Non-parents??

Don't see it if If U don't like the movie THE 39 STEPS (it's on YouTube) don't bother. If U saw it on Bdwy, don't c the Off-Bdwy version, WAY 2 slow. DRINK!
See it if IF U like British history (circa 18th C.) & a "clean" portrayal of Romance with a little Faith message in between U will really enjoy this!!
Don't see it if The Biblical references may offend atheists & die-hard agnostics, but most of the faith moments are very subtly played out in the text.
See it if A friend got me in with his Student ID (the nice price) and we were sent to FRONT ROW CENTER. Tony-winner Alice Ripley completely killed it!
Don't see it if If U find mental illness distressing. If U cannot sympathize with a dysfunctional family. If U hate great songs, great music, & great acting

Don't see it if If you are sensitive to LOUD music and partial nudity or women kissing or basically if U r over age 50?? (old hippies r OK).
See it if You are familiar with Austism/Asperger syndrome behaviors. Play does a good job of showing the POV of a person battling symptoms.
Don't see it if You can's get a good seat, I was in the back of the orchestra and it left much to be desired. The actors are not miked so closer is better.
