Don't see it if you want a classic broadway show or something familiar or safe. This show is anything but that, which is the incredible part about it.
See it if you enjoy bio musicals! This show I would have never seen had Kara Lindsay not been in it, but truly it caught me by surprise!

See it if you enjoy movie turned musicals with great music, fun staging, & unexpected silly moments created by a cast just having a good time on stage
Don't see it if you prefer shows with a deep story behind them. Waitress is a fun show that deals with the topic of domestic abuse in a lighter way.
See it if You want to see a Disney classic truly embrace its connection to African culture through music, choreography, & costuming with a strong cast

See it if you want a better understanding of our country's history, you want to see an incredibly talented cast, and truly enjoy musical theatre.

See it if you’re a fan of dark, rock musicals. The cast takes you deep into the 70s & keeps you invested the entire time! Little Shop meets Heathers!
Don't see it if you’re looking for traditional musical theater, or aren’t open to a twist on the classics. Probably wouldn’t recommend for kids
See it if you want a real story told through such powerful music. The show is overwhelming and gives you a lot to think about, which is the best art.
Don't see it if you’re uncomfortable with conversations around mental health, suicide, etc. It gets deep into a lot of topics some people can’t handle
See it if you enjoy shows that introduce difficult topics. Watch a group of actresses tell stories that are all too relevant to begin conversations
Don't see it if you are looking for a light hearted, comedic, and/or family oriented show. Or aren’t ready to face this generation’s truth.
See it if you're interested in predominantly performers of color telling a fun and unpredictable story mainly in song and incredible choreography!
Don't see it if you don't enjoy wonderful, wonderful shows
See it if You want to see magic. That's the only way to explain this show. It's magic. And you will cry from happiness.

See it if You love Disney musicals, want to experience the culture of this foreign (and kinda fake) land, and love a good, romantic storyline.
Don't see it if Slight changes in the original Aladdin storyline is going to bother you or if you can't deal with a lot of children being in the audience.
