See it if plot lines similar to of episodes of "Friends" do it for you.

Don't see it if you're looking for a meaty script to uncover great truths about relationships or life.

Also Enjoyable performances by Simone Serra and Scott Brieden as the sideki... Read more Read less

West Village
Intelligent, Steady, Modern

See it if female playwrights make you go WAHOO! and you're into seeing themes of authenticity in culture play out.

Don't see it if you need to root for the main character. Unfortunately, the actress playing Lucia is hard to get behind in her search for self.

Then She Fell
Refreshing, Absorbing, Interactive!

See it if you like to get in on the action.

Don't see it if you prefer your theatre experiences to be in front of a proscenium.

Thought-provoking, Absorbing, Great acting, Resonant

See it if you'd like some delicious moments between 2 great actors, and are in a contemplative mood. Bonus for Brits - it's got references galore!

Midtown W
Great writing, Funny, Entertaining

See it if you can't get enough of everything Hamilton.

Don't see it if you've not seen Hamilton. You can probably get away with coming if you're familiar with the soundtrack, but it's better if you've seen it.

Banal, Dizzying, Overrated, Great staging

See it if dizzying spectacle and interesting staging is your thang.

Don't see it if dissonant music and dense story line take away from your enjoyment of a show.

The Present

Absorbing, Funny, Great acting, Intense

See it if Cate Blanchett.

Don't see it if staying on top of Chekhov's spiderweb of who's-who and who's-done-who characters makes you groan.
