"It is set in post-WWII Italy...This update to the story is handled well, and indeed adds a new dimension, without detracting from the emphasis of the story. This production has put together a generally talented cast...The cast is made up of largely younger performers, the most seasoned and elder statesman of the troupe being the terribly talented Richard Mazda playing Shylock...I have seen him perform far more powerfully in other productions in the past." for a previous production "As we travel through time with Caporale and his four talented a cappella cohorts, we are treated to song, and dance, and even liberal samplings of alcohol at different stages of development and evolution...'The Imbible' is educational and rip-roaring funny, with a talented and generous dose of song and dance, and three free drinks." "Morton’s challenge to play such an intense character was steep, not only for its intensity, but also for the great intelligence of the character and script. Certainly, many of the best lines were taken directly from speeches and club acts by Mr. Gregory himself. But Joe Morton’s ability to step into the role is spectacular. Morton’s performance is the epitome of what we love to watch when we watch great acting." Full Review
"Let's not call this a “play”, because it only marginally meets that criteria. "Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man", written by Matt Murphy and directed by Tim Drucker, is part improv, part cabaret, part silliness -- and mostly just a night of fluffy fun." Full Review
