Unexpected, Riveting, Thought-provoking, Provocative

See it if You want a provocative, thought-provoking theater experience. There's a lot of unpack & think about. Was great; not at all what I expected.

Don't see it if You want lighter, fun fare. This show is a lot to process. Race, rape, slavery, nudity. If you can't handle those, stay clear of this show.

Quirky, Disappointing if no celeb guest, Funny, Entertaining

See it if Fun improv skits put to music. We laughed a lot. Think musical segments of "Whose Line is it Anyways" but a bit racier/raunchier at times

Don't see it if If the chance at a celebrity guest is the big draw for you. We didn't have a guest & it was disappointing. Some bits dragged on too long.

See it if To see Laurie Metcalf & John Lithgow. Superb acting from both. Interesting look at a made-up evening of the 2008 primaries. Pre-Trump era.

Don't see it if You are tired of politics or the Clintons. Set was very minimal. Props/costumes strewn on floor cuz no set pieces-- I found it distracting.
