See it if You have kids or are an adult who could use some escapist fun. It's a very quirky and heartfelt show and we all (3 adults) loved it.
Don't see it if You're determined not to have a good time.
See it if you want to feel a deep personal connection to a play, playwright, actor, and audience.
Don't see it if you are grieving the loss of a parent (just proceed with caution)
See it if you want to spend the evening laughing (often nervously); you are open to being "called in" and are comfortable sitting in your discomfort
Don't see it if you will feel personally offended by a comedic (and totally fair) dragging of well-meaning white people
See it if you love oddly staged/arranged Dylan songs so much that you're willing to tolerate an unnecessary mediocre boardinghouse plot, or vice versa
Don't see it if you like musicals with any sort of symbiosis between the music and book, you are annoyed by cliched characters/tropes or cloying folksiness
See it if you love the score, you love ballet, you are willing to forgive a lot of sins because of how much you love the score and/or ballet
Don't see it if you want to watch a cast of people who can all act, sing, AND dance and are well matched to their roles
See it if you want to learn, be challenged, experience something innovative and powerful

See it if you want a show that's engaging, encouraging, and honest. It's uplifting and fun to watch, but still substantive.
