See it if you want to see a great performance by Brian Cox. It's fascinating to see the arc of the character during his time in office.
Don't see it if seeing the manipulation of a president will infuriate you. Incredibly heartbreaking and frustrating.
See it if The only reason to see is to see Peter Dinklage live. The basic plot of Cyrano without much heightened language, or love of language.
Don't see it if the music and lyrics don't suit the original script and they dumb down the show. It is language that wins our heart. This version doesn't.
See it if you want to learn about the amazing Bella Abzug. You love Harvey Fierstein.
Don't see it if you don't want to be preached at by a man "women can control the world if they would just vote for women." I love Harvey, but cast a woman!
See it if want to see Marisa Tomei give a stellar performance. She is charming and really carries the show. Beautifully directed. Gorgeous set.
Don't see it if show is long & the pacing is typical of Williams, which is a little leisurely for today's audience, but direction & acting kept me riveted.
See it if you like a 1970's version of Mabeth spoof that takes place in Scotland PA. The 2 leads have great voices and make the most of an OK score
Don't see it if You don't like black comedies, and don't know Mabeth enough to get all the references.
See it if you want to see a tour de force performance by Adrienne Warren. Good bio-show.
Don't see it if You don't like bio shows or aren't interested in Tina Turners life.
See it if you want to see a talented cast performing in a weak script.
Don't see it if you have seen the film Judy - the young Judy is good in this play, but the book needs work and some of the choices of songs were odd.
See it if you love the movie. The sets and costumes are beautiful, the music is good. Vocally everyone shines.
Don't see it if Strong show, but missing the chemistry of the movie. Literally no chemistry between the leads. Too bad. Each is a strong actor and singer.
See it if You like illusionist and mind reading. But are prepared for off broadway intimate type show in a bigger house. Slower paced.
Don't see it if You want a Vegas type experience, or a book musical or play.
See it if Celia Keenan-Bolger was wonder & deserving the Tony! Wonderful cast. I loved this show. Still relevant. Enjoyed the adaptation.
Don't see it if You want to see a musical.
See it if you like very strong vocalist singing a cappella. I didn't know what it was about and it was an "Aha!" moment! 7/8th of a great show!
Don't see it if You are looking for anything like Comet. It's a different show, with its own life, and message. see below. Needs a little trimming.
See it if you haven't seen the movie in long time. I had very low expectations, & was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this. Did I say low?!
Don't see it if you are expecting good music, or good story: Butler & McClure mug too much. The highlight is Leslie Kritzer's latin number!
See it if You are a teen or felt like an outsider when you were one. The kids, especially the theatre kids I talked to in the audience loved it.
Don't see it if You are expecting something profound. It’s a high concept show that has I think has limited adult appeal. Just OK.
See it if you like silly erudite low brow comedies. Julie White was a stand out. If you like high camp, you might enjoy moments.
Don't see it if you will be offended by mannequins with accurate body parts & every body function discussed. A familiarity with Titus Andronicus may help.
See it if This is a very good production of a so-so show. Kelly O’Hara’s wonderful. Will Chase’s fine. Not much chemistry. Good choreo, dir & MusicDir
Don't see it if The biggest problem is the show is dated and some off the songs are ridiculously long and some groaner rhymes. Not Porters best work.

Don't see it if You don’t like dramas. It’s an emotional peice.
See it if If you like Sam Shepard, but this story doesn’t have the depth that Buried Child has. Great performances, especially by Paul Dano.
Don't see it if The plot doesn’t make a lot of sense. It is very contrived. It’s also fairly dark, so if you are looking for an uplifting story, skip it.
See it if you love the bones of Tootsie -Santino Fontana's audition number is a showstopper. He's wonderful! Supporting cast was good.
Don't see it if It gives up some of the best film moments, but it's still a great farce. The play moves the action to a "Musical" instead of a Soap Opera
See it if you are looking for a boy meets girl sort of show. Max Crumm is charming, w/ fabulous voice. Allie Trimm played multiple characters adeptly
Don't see it if A cliched piece will bug you. I Love You Your Perfect Now Change, and Blind Date do a better job with the subject. Staging had issues.
See it if you are up for a sweet and quirky comedy that revolves around Snooker. Great ensemble acting. I didn't mind the pace and enjoyed the evening
Don't see it if you are looking for slapstick or huge laughs. Not as funny as One Man Two Guvnors. Don't expect a farce. You get Great likable characters.
See it if you want to see the African mean girl, however this had a beautifully handled topic of race and color. Saw new prod.in LA. Excellent cast
Don't see it if a hopefully outdated glimpse into color preference with in a race, doesn't excite you. However, it was a well edited, short show. saw 9/18
See it if you like Samantha Bark (gorgeous) & Andy Karl (charming). Show's too long, but enjoyed this more than I expected. Great costume homage.
Don't see it if My biggest disappointment was the score. Especially with Barks and Karl who are great vocalist.
See it if You want to see wonderful ensemble acting by the 4 male leads. I know brothers who behave like this... but the second half felt contrived.
Don't see it if The earsplitting pre-show music was an attempt to make a point.- Out of place, indulgent, and ridiculous! Let the script carry your message.
See it if If you are a Cole Porter fan. This show isn't done often mostly because of it's silly plot. But if you are in for good music & fun, go!
Don't see it if You are looking for a drama, or a cohesive plot. Don't like Porter's music. Also be aware that Mufti prod. are minimal sets, & rehearsal.
See it if you are prepared to see a sung through album: simple, truthful, heartbreaking. Henry is fabulous! Modern dance choreo.
Don't see it if If you aren't interested in a pop/rap story. Don't like repetitive lyrics. (which didn't bother me since I knew it was an album first) ....
See it if You have the patience to see a conservative POV script that needs a good hair cut. Well acted, but not well directed or edited.
Don't see it if you hate shows that are so poorly lit that you end up with eyestrain. People around me were nodding off. Monologs droned on in the dark.
See it if you want to see a musical improv show with the focus on rap and beatboxing. Wayne Brady was a guest that night. Great time! Great host!
Don't see it if you don't like rap, improv, or comedy. It is not a book musical. Also having to lock your phone and hold it in a special bag was annoying.
See it if you like silly high concept shows & are expecting a fluffy show. Great singing by all but Busey. Not bad music. Was better than I expected
Don't see it if If you want to see it go right away. It is closing early. Needs work but is I'm glad I saw it.
See it if you want to see Jonathan Groff be completely wonderful as Seymour. So much fun I would see it again. Christian Borle was a hoot. Thumbs up
Don't see it if You expect Tammy Blanchard to hold up to Ellen Greene perf. Sadly, she doesn't have the vocal chops for the role, and odd char. choices.
See it if you want to see a really great scrip, well directed and well acted. I was riveted for the whole thing.
Don't see it if You want to see something lighthearted or a musical.
See it if You want to see a tour de force performance by Jonathan Pryce. However confusing the script and direction is. - Disappointingly confusing.
Don't see it if you don't want to walk out of the theatre not knowing who's POV you have been watching, or is it multiple POV's?? I certainly have no clue!
See it if Saw this before Broadway. It's another musical bio show (like Jersey Boys, Beautiful etc) I'm particularly fond of the music, and fun choreo
Don't see it if Seeing another bio show doesn't interest you.
Also Saw this 9/08/18 in LA
See it if want an incredibly fun evening. No message. Jokes for jokes sake musical. The audience was giggling through the whole thing. Don't miss it
Don't see it if you want to see a serious piece or something more relevant. This was old fashioned adorable comedy.
See it if You want to see Santino Fontana give a fabulous performance. A less politically insensitive Tootsie reworked for stage. Funny. Just funny.
Don't see it if you are looking for great chemistry between the leads, or great music. One of Yazbek's weaker score. However, a fun and funny evening.
See it if With a mostly spectacular cast, the direction falters on one of my favorite Miller plays. If you have not seen it before go.
Don't see it if You have seen other productions. Despite Benning and Letts, the show is poorly directed with no vision. Even the final moment rings false.
See it if You want to see gorgeous dancing. Second act has a very fun fantasy sequence. Fluffy but cute script. Music themes heard 20x typical Rogers
Don't see it if You want a contemporary show, or don’t have the patience for a long first act, or a very repetitive score.
See it if Has the makings of a good show. The music is ok. Acting is cute. Mimi Scardulla standout! High concept mystery murder cheerleader spoof.
Don't see it if lyrics with the accent on the wrong syllable annoy you. Fuzzy plot, that almost works.
See it if you like modern dance, pop hypno-music & don't mind a show that is painfully slow and feels long even at 90min. Actors all worked hard
Don't see it if I was really not a fan of this show. Sadly it was boring. Misconceived original musical. I agree with the critics.
See it if You want history of Gloria Steinem, and her career. Very educational. The act 2 talking circle that was extremely interesting.
Don't see it if You don’t want a bio show on Gloria Steinem. It was fairly pedantic, told with historical vignettes vs scenes & traditional dialogue.
See it if The was very ambitious taking on a lot of topical issues, but also felt a little like a mystery as the story revealed itself. Well directed
Don't see it if The two lead women were awesome. The script was almost too chock full of themes. Overall I highly recommend it.
See it if you are an Elaine May fan. She is BRILLIANT in the role
Don't see it if you are disturbed by the slow decline and onset of Alzheimers. Heartbreaking piece with a strong cast. Go!
See it if you're looking for a sad Steinbeck-ish novel meets Bob Dylan's music. Songs work surprisingly well for the period. Great ensemble acting.
Don't see it if your looking for Dylan's greatest its. I left the theatre trying to figure out who the protagonist was. Plot was dark and painfully slow.
See it if you are interested in seeing a thought provoking intelligent piece. Well directed and wonderfully acted, it lead to great conversation after
Don't see it if you aren't interested in a cerebral play. It's smart, and contemporary. I thought it made for a great evening in the theatre.
See it if you love Irving Berlin. Felder spins tales and plays with great aplomb. This is the perfect role for him.
Don't see it if you aren't a Berlin fan, or you are looking for more drama in your one man shows. It's very much a historical bio.
See it if You like a traditional musical theater story and light rock music. The audience seemed to have fun.
Don't see it if A bland, weak score and a cliched story you don't think are worth an evening
See it if You like Joshua Harmon's (Bad Jews) writing. Idina Menzel and Stephen Carrasco have great mother / son chemistry.
Don't see it if You don't like plays with whining, where EVERY character is self centered. You don't buy into the philosophy that looks ARE everything.
See it if If you like a light, fun, kids show and are familiar with both Wicked & Frozen. It's not a true parody, although it does parody the music...
Don't see it if ...and has a lot of references to the shows, this story is about a teacher and girl that are reading her play as a storm snows them in.
