See it if You love mediocre productions of great plays. Writing was great but felt a bit dated. Jackson’s acting is community theatre level

Don't see it if You like some power behind your leading man. You like your dialogue to flow effortlessly between characters.

See it if You have an hour to throw away and don’t have to pay a penny to get a ticket. Completely fell asleep, such a mess.

Don't see it if You think the show will make any sort of sense at all. Nothing linear about it. You also can’t inderstand a word either actor is saying.

See it if You enjoy a good hearted story about a true story with catchy music

Don't see it if You're over seeing cliched stories portraying what a gay life is like

See it if You're a Cate Balnchett or Chekhov fan. Uptons adaptation of "Platanov" is well done. Think "A Little Night Music" meets "Long Days Journey"

Don't see it if You lack patience and have to have things spoon-fed to you. The play requires you to think about the plot, who's related to who, etc

See it if You are a fan of David Hare and like a play that's going to challenge your mind in regards to the human psyche after war. Weisz is amazing

Don't see it if You don't want something that requires you to focus or are looking for a light evening of theatre that's not too profound

See it if You're one of those people who only goes to shows to see celebrities, not for actual good stories. you'll be in heaven with this one.

Don't see it if You aren't in the mood for a dizzying, distracted newspaper room dramedy where a bunch of actors are just spewing lines w/no real intentions

See it if You want to watch powerful acting by DHP as you watch a few moments in the this mans life (and afterlife) unfold in front of you

Don't see it if You are sensitive about death/relationships and have a short attention span.

See it if It's closed now, but if you enjoy films such as "Blue Valentine" or "Revolutionary Road" you'd like this. Real, raw, sad.

Don't see it if You aren't willing to watch two people live their lives in front of you because it may give you severe anxiety about your own relationships

See it if You love innovative, immersive or environmental experimental theatre. Haha lots of words there but it's a very original piece.

Don't see it if Your attention span is short and you don't want to use your imagination or your brain. The show makes you think and demands you follow along

See it if You are a fan of LaBute's work and of Judith Light. Wonderful performance

Don't see it if You need a super linear plot, a beginning, middle and end, etc. The play overall was a let down

See it if You have kids who are amazed by the stagecraft of Disney or if you as an adult want to revisit the magic of live theatre as well

Don't see it if You can't afford a good seat in the orchestra. Find talking animals to be stupid You don't want actors to phone in their performances

See it if You love beautiful music and absorbing story lines.

Don't see it if You are not patient and love happy shows with lots of laughs

See it if You like powerhouse performances. You like poignant messages on love and forgiveness and humanity

Don't see it if You're narrow minded or do not accept diversity

See it if You love slow moving intimate plays where the dialogue is not compelling or linear.

Don't see it if You want good performances and a well written narrative

See it if You love Disney and don't want any profound thoughts coming out of a show

Don't see it if You like linear ANYthing. Was kind of all over the place. Blocking was a mess

See it if You are a fan of the play and of Sam Gold. His vision is unique and inspired. Great performances

Don't see it if You treasure Glass Menagerie as a traditionally staged "safe" interpretation. This is the opposite. Makes you think and suspend disbelief

See it if You are a fan of the movie or of great writing in general. A well done little glimpse into the lives of youth and the man who inspired them

Don't see it if You're not a fan of Doyle's work. Or are easily bored with stories that take place at New England prep schools

See it if You like that painfully contemporary and cliche teen angst musical (a la Dear Evan Hansen or Bare). But those shows at least had good music

Don't see it if You like a progressing storyline and realism in your shows. This show is corny and tiresome and didn't justify itself being a musical.

See it if You are familiar with Samuel D.Hunters style and enjoy it. Great dialogue, compelling plot and across the board wonderful performances.

Don't see it if You don't like new, fresh, contemporary plays from great playwrights. Or if you're a devout Evangelical :)

See it if You love fresh, contemporary works from promising playwrights. I didn't love King Charles, I thought this was much better

Don't see it if Those Roundabout subscribers clearly didn't understand that this play was basically slandering their generation for everything and I love it

See it if You have ever been in a family, been in a relationship or fallen in love. The performances are wonderful and the material is so clever

Don't see it if You have an all too dry sense of humor or don't like ensemble pieces and want a big "movie star" in a role

See it if You can give yourself over to watching full grown adults tell very human stories while dressed as cats. Self explanatory

Don't see it if Don't see it for the sake of criticizing it for being a "cult" show. Go in with an open mind and have fun is the best thing you can do

See it if You like fresh new playwrights and a piece relevant to today's society. Great performances from the two actors

Don't see it if You don't enjoy the minimalist, downtown vibe to your shows.

See it if You are a fan of the cast and their previous work. Great performances across the board.

Don't see it if You are an educated Chekhov person and don't want to see a misguided, mediocre revival of a great play with great actors despite everything

See it if You like intimate stories of perseverance and overcoming obstacles, etc. You love Sara Bareilles' music

Don't see it if You're looking for something grand and epic. You Are sexist

See it if You love shows from the Golden Age with great messages and wonderful books

Don't see it if You want something light and fun.

See it if You love new takes on classic pieces of drama

Don't see it if Plays bore you or you have no imagination

See it if You are a member of a family because you can relate to the message in some way or another

Don't see it if You are homophobic and want something light hearted

See it if You're seeing your first Broadway show. Like epic sets with beautiful costumes, amazing music and a great message

Don't see it if You don't have an imagination. You don't like the wizard of oz
