"A chick flick in the form of a musical...The show was fun to watch and the dialogue was witty and clever. There were lots of references to famous chick flicks. I think most women who love these types of movies will get the references but most of the references are simply quotes, so you don’t need to know the film to enjoy the show. The show is fun either way and ends on a happy note.” Full Review

"The show's dialogue is well-written, hysterical at times and touching at others...Martin Bonger as the beast was superb and the two sisters stole the show with their chemistry and stage presence. Sara Lessore as Isabella was a perfect modern version of 'Beauty.' I loved that all performers were able to play a variety of instruments, as well as sing and act...I wish more kids' shows would have this type of music!" Full Review

"A show about male friendship. But it is, in fact, a modern circus...The three performers use movement to convey a story about friendship and relationships between friends. They use acrobatics, modern dance, and parkour, among other forms of movement, plus a Cyr wheel (which is the highlight of the show). The acrobatics are very impressive, the dancing is really well-done, and I loved that they incorporate humor into their acts...The show is very entertaining." Full Review

"Definitely a unique experience we will never forget!...Although the story is easy to follow, some of the language is a bit complex for kids...This unique and inventive show really makes you feel like you are part of what’s going on. Together with a thought-provoking story, it’s hands-down an irresistible combination. While the show is not preachy in any way, it does instill an important lesson that the audience will think about long after the show is over." Full Review

"It was fun to watch a beloved series come to life! The Elephant and Piggy characters, played by Evan Casey and Lauren Williams respectively, are absolutely endearing...They bring the characters to life through cabaret-style songs and witty jokes that even the parents will chuckle at." Full Review

"'Mr. Popper's Penguins' is a mini-musical that's short and perfect for introducing young kids to musicals...Clocking in at 55 minutes, the show is perfectly suited for four-year-olds and up. Older kids, ages 8 or 9, will also find it amusing...The musical numbers perfectly match the story and atmosphere and the penguin puppets are absolutely adorable." Full Review

"It's not easy these days to get kids into the classics, let alone science fiction classics. The New Victory Theater has brought us an updated performance of Jules Verne's beloved book '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,' with cool special effects and a modern story line kids can relate to...Bringing up this [environmental] issue in a children's play not only adds another dimension and depth to the story; it makes the show more relatable and educational." "Easy to follow and my kids seemed to pick up on most of what was going on. The show was very light and peppered with jokes for the kids, for parents or both, so the atmosphere was fun and upbeat. Some of the jokes were actually pretty clever and, as expected, the supporting cast stole the show...The music was very catchy and upbeat and each member of the cast was simply incredible to listen to." for a previous production "I found the music fun and the singing to be absolutely gorgeous, plus the traditional dancing and costumes make you feel like you're on a little trip to Africa. But the real showstopper is the daredevil acrobatic acts...Some of the performances were similar to Cirque de Soleil and just like Cirque de Soleil, I just kept hearing myself say 'wow!' at every single act...A fun show for the entire family." “Life for teens in today’s word is fast-paced...Nevertheless, carving out a few hours...to see...’Ah, Wilderness!’ can be worthwhile...A really great play with a compelling story...The dialogue is the original dialogue of the play – no need to dumb it down for us, although some of it is outdated and definitely not politically correct for our time. All things considered, it’s great to be able to take your pre-teen to a show...I could not have asked for a more perfect ending! Full Review

“Beckman is a different breed of magician...I was completely dumbfounded by not only the uniqueness of the tricks but also by how impossible it was for me to figure them out...Vitaly doesn’t have the glitz and glamour of other magicians...He simply plays himself without much fanfare...The staging is fairly minimal...His statement is very clear: the focus is solely on the magic acts...Simply astounding...These are magic tricks in their own category of amazing.” Full Review

"A breathtaking show you don’t want to miss!...Accompanied by his talented assistant Hess, Jason Bishop will simply leave you dumbfounded...Both amazed at the clever tricks and a little frustrated that I couldn’t figure them out!...All of his tricks are simply mind-boggling! Each trick is more amazing than the next...Jason has a lot of charisma and wit. His humor appeals to both kids and adults alike and his easy-going, laid-back stage persona makes him very relatable.” Full Review

“It’ll keep both toddlers and school-aged kids entertained...It even comes with an important lesson that kids will remember long after they leave the theater...The music was indeed uplifting and catchy...Scurlock is the undeniable star of the show. Her incredibly powerful voice is very special. Theo Errig, as the kid, was adorable and had a sweet voice…The show was fun and energetic. I loved that there was a message for the kids that they could easily understand and relate to.” Full Review

"Loved the stories and the catchy music...Appealing for the younger crowd, as a cappella music has become a huge trend in recent years...The songs are catchy and fun but also sentimental at times...The staging is really cool--the audience sits around a subway platform so no matter where you sit you have a great view." "Forget what you've seen in a circus before—'Kurios' is on a level of its own. Imagination knows no boundaries here; this is an Alice-in-Wonderland-type of world where nothing makes sense and you find yourself sitting in your seat asking yourself over and over, 'Can they do that???' Indeed, if I had to describe the show in one word, it would be: unpredictable...Cirque du Soleil spared no expense in this lavish production." Full Review

for a previous production "A self-proclaimed comic daredevil, Bello Nock is likable and charismatic and yes, his hair is real...Aside from the amusing daredevil stunts, the show includes background pictures of Bello's life and tells a little bit about his and his family's background...'Bello Mania' is all about being plain silly and goofy. My kids were watching him with wide eyes and little smiles on their faces and we all had a great time at the show." Full Review

for a previous production "The jokes flew a mile a minute and the audience, including my 3-year old and 5-year-old, was in total awe. It was clear this was a top-notch performance that could very well stand on its own as a Vegas performance. Like many magicians, Max has a shtick. But his shtick is so good, I left the show wanting to see more and with a strong feeling that the 'Amazing Max' has all the makings of a cult-like following." Full Review
