See it if to explore remedial education against overwhelming odds faced by the poor and marginalized; if the occasional success story inspires you.

Don't see it if you're too suspicious of a white woman's take on problems of people of color and of recent immigrants...oh, see it anyway.

Absorbing, Ambitious, Intelligent, Profound, Thought-provoking

See it if You're concerned about the issues of rape and gender; you like shows about how lies affect relationships.

Don't see it if You think that the issue of rape can never, ever be funny.

Confusing, Quirky, Relevant, Disappointing, Ambitious

See it if you don't mind a promising but "underbaked" play. Prologue was best, clearest part. Playwright must clarify & foreshadow events & motives.

Don't see it if you're expecting a show about what a writing center actually DOES. BTW, the character "Gigi" may have unrealistic, unexpressed expectations.

Clever, Funny, Relevant, Resonant, Absorbing

See it if you're a fan of The Sound of Music; you hate Trump, Nazis, and other fascists; you like clever takes on classics.

Don't see it if you hate clever takes on classics; you hate "queered" takes on classics.
