See it if You enjoy Cynthia Nixon and Laura Linney, as their acting is phenomenal. If you enjoy period dramas, this is a good pick for you.

Don't see it if You are easily offended by slight misogyny and racism. This takes place over 100 years ago, and reflects the thoughts of that time.

See it if You like shows about relationships. The show tackles the time when all your friends are getting married but not you. It's funny and clever.

Don't see it if You are hoping for a happy ending. The show is realistic and can be over the top. It's definitely a show more millennials will relate to.

See it if You enjoy theatre that breaks the wall. The show is a vision and the performances are great. This is for more open-minded theatregoers.

Don't see it if You prefer more linear, straightforward theatre. The show is confusing at times and doesn't have a throughline. The music can be forgettable

See it if You enjoy operatic, romantic stories. See it if you enjoy spectacle and gothic themes. The show is dark, but romantic and hopeful.

Don't see it if You dislike over-the-top productions. The show is good, but a bit fluffy. There's not a whole lot of depth to it.

Don't see it if You dislike cross dressers. If you don't like pop-type music (Cyndi Lauper). If you are looking for a hard-hitting LGBTQA show this isn't it

See it if You like inter-personal relationship and coming-of-age stories. The show is part thriller, so if you like darker themes, this one is for you

Don't see it if You dislike sexual content on stage or thrillers. The story is not a happy one and is not appropriate for children.

See it if You enjoy more avant-garde theatre and like less non-linear structured storylines. The show is visually stunning and thought-provoking.

Don't see it if You dislike slow or philosophical-type shows. The play presents itself like an old movie and doesn't have much plot-wise.

See it if You're interested in the intricacies of a Jewish family in New York just before the 9/11 attacks. The show is well-acted.

Don't see it if You dislike heavy material regarding race and religion. The show is a bit slow and long and tries to cover more issues than it should.

Don't see it if You dislike romances that don't work out. If you dislike jukebox musicals or the music of Carole King, it is definitely not for you.

See it if You like the movie. The music is fun and the kids are beyond talented. It's good for the entire family, though there are some adult themes.

Don't see it if You dislike loud shows or musicals that are less heavy theme-wise. There are adult themes, so beware of bringing young children.

See it if You enjoy the original movie or the music of Sara Bareilles. It's romantic and cute, and you can get pie!

Don't see it if You have a problem with adultery in shows. The show is fluffy, without a whole lot of real substance, but enjoyable. Not thought-provoking

Don't see it if You dislike sex and violence on stage. The story is not very well focused and is more confusing than enthralling.

Don't see it if You dislike the topic of transgender/gay people. The story is about a rocker from Germany who had a sex change. Don't go if that bothers you

Don't see it if You dislike flashy or fluffy musicals. The acting and story are enjoyable, but not substantial. Don't like The Wizard of Oz? Maybe skip this

Don't see it if You dislike raunchiness or mediocre storytelling. The music is forgettable and the plot is nowhere to be found. One hour felt like five

See it if You enjoy light-hearted musicals. There are many references to older, popular musicals in this show. Shakespeare as well.

Don't see it if You prefer substance. This show is very fluffy. Most of the music is forgettable and the show doesn't have a well-resolved ending.

See it if You enjoy political theatre that deals with current issues of today. The show speaks largely on oil and the environment.

Don't see it if You have issues with explicit content. Some of the actors are mediocre and the writing leaves a lot to be desired.

See it if You are a fan of Nick Payne. Similarly to Constellations, Incognito intelligently explores various stories and how they are interconnected.

Don't see it if You dislike experimental writing. There is no set narrative arc you would typically expect. The show requires thought and is not overt.

Don't see it if You are a mega-fan of The Crucible. Ivo van Hove's interpretation lacks clarity and artistic subtlety and hinders the work.

See it if You're a fan of Frank Langella. He's the star of the show. If you enjoy thought-provoking, simple theatre, this is the show for you.

Don't see it if You are sensitive about having a family member with dementia. It's a sad portrayal to watch.

See it if You enjoy dance-heavy shows. This is more of a 'classical' musical and the music is a compilation of Gershwin songs.

Don't see it if You dislike dancing. The show is slow and the music incorporation is a stretch. The acting is forgettable.

Don't see it if You are antisemitic. The story is how a Jewish family is displaced from their home. Also, if you expect a 'happy' ending, do not see this.

Don't see it if You may be offended by it. The content is vaguely racist. Also it is quite long and not fast-paced.
