See it if you enjoy original musicals with great pop scores. The music is absolutely incredible. Most songs could be on the radio easily.

Don't see it if you can't get past the conceit. The show has so much more to say than I expected going into it.

Also The cast and designs are to die for... it's really eye-popping and get... Read more Read less

See it if you want to see a well-crafted, well-acted, well-directed all around fantastic evening of theatre.

Don't see it if you need spectacle to enjoy a show. This is four actors on a set that's nothing but a chair - but it's thrilling nonetheless.

Also Laurie Metcalf is AMAZING as Hillary. One of the best performances I'v... Read more Read less

See it if Everyone should see this brilliant new musical. The writing is superb, the songs are delicious, and the story is enthralling and romantic.

Don't see it if It's intimate, which may not appeal on the surface to theatergoers looking for splashy musicals, but they should still give it a shot.

Great staging, Epic, Masterful, Romantic, Ambitious

See it if You want to see a contemporary classic that holds up. Some of the most incredible staging and production value on Broadway.

Don't see it if You have something against the British Invasion musicals. Definitely a product of a specific time in Broadway history.

Great staging, Great acting, Thought-provoking, Resonant, Riveting

See it if You want to see some of the best acting performances this season, in a play that feels like it could have been written yesterday. Amazing.

Don't see it if You're uncomfortable with theatre that is unapologetically speaking to timely and controversial issues.

See it if you want to support the Vineyard. They produce some great work, but this was a total miss.

Don't see it if you value clarity in storytelling and smart character development.

Also This play feels like a bad rip-off of The Office when it begins, but i... Read more Read less

See it if you love smart, actor-driven theater. Also if you're a fan of Aaron Posner, particularly his show from a few years ago, STUPID F*CKING BIRD.

Don't see it if You're looking for more run of the mill mainstream fare. This is a great play for play-lovers and avid theatergoers.

Also Really a fun night at the theater that leaves you with a lot to think ... Read more Read less

Funny, Fluffy, Overrated, Raunchy, Disappointing

See it if You can't miss out on something that was all that. Or you're a huge South Park or Casey Nicholaw fan.

Don't see it if You think it's going change your life. It's a totally fine show... but it's not the brilliant thing it's been hyped up to be.

See it if You love good solo show, well written, directed and given by an incredible performer.

Don't see it if Production value is hugely important to you. This is a very simply designed production, which puts the acting out front.
