See it if You like avant garde, experimental preachy ranting that relies on nonsensical bravado. The staging is beautiful but show is unwatchable.
Don't see it if An opera without a single melody. Its spoken dialogue in metre with no story as an older woman reads lines from an iPad from the ceiling.
See it if A masterful production. Directing, acting and singing are Bway quality (if not better than most Bway shows.) The score is triumphant.
Don't see it if You are expecting a big fun musical. This is a layered fable with lots of moving parts. Feels more like a cross between an opera and play.
See it if Sweeney Todd is always a genius show but the staging is not truly immersive. Great actors but dissapointing.
Don't see it if The orchestrations were redone in a way that is actually criminal. The show loses its power and becomes an actor shoutfest.
