for a previous production "Features only one cast member, with O’Regan playing all 24 characters. He changes quickly between innocent children and old hags, and everything in between...The story is quite a simple, straightforward one...It is a very impressive performance, one which shows endurance and great versatility by O’Regan. It is extremely difficult to command an audience’s attention for that length of time, but his energy level never dips as he tells the story through a wide range of characters." Full Review
for a previous production “Stapleton has created a splendid script…Noni Stapleton as performer and writer has created a triumph. She is entitled to be very proud of ‘Charolais,’ but also the direction of Bairbre ni Caoimh is to be lauded as it energizes the entire script…‘Charolais’ is great theatre, no more need be said.” Full Review
for a previous production "'Pondling' is a one woman piece, written and performed by Genevieve Hulme-Beaman. It is the intensity of her performance that really captures the imagination and moves this piece onto another level...This young writer and actor has created a quite bizarre world that we are invited to explore, and for any fan of fringe theatre, the chance should not be missed." for a previous production “A production that focuses on atmosphere and lighting, while keeping the words of the master at its heart...They are rewarding and complex pieces. The lighting is one of the more striking things, and also the use of projections onto the walls of the building...The performances are varied, with one piece being a crash of words and the next slow and thoughtful. This is a subtle and rich show that could take repeated viewing, and a treat for any Beckett fan.” Full Review
for a previous production "This enchanting tale...is a piece about conquering the fear of the unknown...When it began it was so mesmerizing that I actually felt tears springing to my eyes. The opening section is inspired by the aesthetics of the book, whilst not actually being part of the original story...The original music and evocative design of Teater Refleksion’s Mariann Aagaard made this beautiful and imaginative story come alive on stage...Any fan of Jeffers work, either young or old, this is a must see." for a previous production "This is an enjoyable fast paced play that never lets you catch your breath...The writing is impressive in this new work and there are many great comedic moments contained within...If you’re looking for a delicately played thriller, look elsewhere, but if it’s light hearted fun with a touch of madness you’re after, it’s here in spades."
