See it if You love Bette, or want to see this classic musical as it was meant to be, or need to fall in love with Bette. It's a fantastic confection.

See it if You would like to understand how Springsteen thinks, creates, and explains his life's musical history, which drives the narrative.

Don't see it if You are looking for one of his rock shows. This is smaller, intimate, and not a sing or clap along spectacle. It's drama.

See it if you have a kid or want to sing along. lovely costumes, great chorus

See it if If you're a fan of Sweeney, and like a smaller show. Just plain, good fun. Imaginative with great actors with fabulous voices.

Don't see it if You're looking for the huge productions of past Sweeneys.

See it if If you want to feel good about humanity. Be prepared to jump out of your seats for a standing ovation of good feelings at the end.

Don't see it if You don't like musicals or Canada, which means you have no soul:-)

See it if To stare at Mr Kline in wonderment. He's an actors dream. Funny, quick, fresh, and has a great cast to back him up.

Don't see it if You aren't in the mood to listen to British dialogue and pay attention to the slower details that eventually add up. Sending half is best.

See it if If you liked the film, a little romance, or Ms. Soo.

Don't see it if If you are looking for something serious or a cohesive plot.

See it if The acting is outstanding. There are no weak links.

See it if Because anything with Kate Walsh is bound to be good. She's wonderful in her performance.

See it if You love Glenn Close or Andrew Lloyd Webber. Better than the original , this reprieve simplifies and thereby magnifies the performances.

Don't see it if If you don't like the typical Lloyd-Webber repetitive songs or if you're going to be fussy about her singing. She's an amazing actor.

See it if If you like Sondheim's lyrics and heartfelt performances.

Don't see it if If you need a lot of action, or glitzy numbers. It's a more intimate, thoughtful work. Annaleigh always is wonderful and Jake's a delight.

See it if If you like crazy, well thought out characters, and watching them evolve over the decades.

Don't see it if You are bothered by narcissists, drunken behavior, or loathful parenting.

See it if You love Josh Grobin, opera, all things Russian, Chekov, or a great use of space. Set design is fabu and the lighting should win a Tony.

Don't see it if If you want something uplifting, memorable music, actors in your space, or a fun plot.

See it if You want to smile for 150 minutes. Joyful production with great energy.
