See it if you like political theater. The play is a warning about what could happen -- it was written in 2016 and some of it already has!

Don't see it if you don't speak Spanish or don't want to read subtitles. I found that watching this play in Spanish heightened the experience in this case.

See it if you like intense psychological drama with little humor.

Don't see it if you want comedy. This play is bleak. All the characters are completely unlikable.

See it if you want to see "Every Gay Play Ever Written as Performed in 6 1/2 Hours." Triumphant staging and great acting. Very entertaining.

Don't see it if you dont like soap operas. This is a gay theatrical This is Us moving back & forth in time telling intertwined histories of a dozen gays

Also There is sooo much to like here. But it is also 6 1/2 hours worth. So it meanders a lot and covers 100 years of gay history as well as paying homage to every major gay play written -- Boys in the Band, As Is, Normal Heart, Love Valour Compassion, Angels in America, etc. Here, you get a pretty full history of 5 characters and at least partial backstories on 2 or 3 more. I would have much preferred one tight 4 hour play focusing on the main characters. Or perhaps even a trilogy of separate but related plays presented over time a la August Wilson. See it if you like short plays. This is 5 plays in just over an hour. All of them fit perfectly into our paranoid, conspiracy-driven climate.

Don't see it if if you are looking for a meal. These are delicious little hors d'oeuvres that leave you wanting more.

See it if you are looking for a quirky, spooky drama about teen girls coming of age.

Don't see it if if you are disturbed by teen pregnancy or the occult.

See it if you like intense family drama performed by an excellent cast in a small theater.

Don't see it if you are disturbed by drug abuse or vulgarity. Or if you are looking for a big flashy production; this one is very simple.

See it if you are looking for an unusual musical with an edge

Don't see it if you dont like LGBT themes or expect the songs to fit perfectly -- they don't, but I didn't expect them to.

See it if you dont mind an overstuffed musical with a great story but very average music (other than a couple amazing showstoppers).

Don't see it if you would prefer to see the same story as a 90 minute play.

See it if you like a musical that is edgy, smart, and funny

Don't see it if you hate puppets, profanity or non-traditional casting.

See it if you want to see the very best immersive show in town. And aren't creeped out by Lewis Carroll.

Don't see it if you want traditional theater. There is a lot of movement here and little dialogue.

See it if you like LGBT themes and are looking for an unusual take on the benefits of gay marriage.

Don't see it if you like edgy theater. This play is very straightforward.

See it if you like a traditional Broadway musical full of spectacle -- though the famed chandelier is disappointing.

Don't see it if you want amazing. Solid, well staged but not exceptional in any way. Take your parents.

See it if you like an edgy solo show about a young gay misguided hustler.

Don't see it if you dont like 1 man shows or are offended by raunchy language. The story is very disjointed but all comes together at the end.

See it if you are looking for a fun musical with a good message for young girls.

Don't see it if you like traditional musicals. This one is pretty edgy.
