The Book of Will
Upstate New York
Clever, Great acting, Great staging

See it if You have a grasp of Shakespeare and like clever staging. It's a (Mid) summer night spent in a spectacular outdoor setting. Lots of laughs

Don't see it if You want a traditional presentation or adherence to time appropriate language.

Riveting, Resonant, Must see

See it if You want to see theater in its finest. Fabulous language, great music, only the most talented artists can handle the show.

Don't see it if You aren't ready to be transformed for 3 hours.

Clever, Edgy, Profound

See it if You are open to a new wave of musical theater and the genius who mastered music and language.

Don't see it if You haven't previewed the cd/story. It happens so fast it's easy to get lost.

During previews
Delightful, Intelligent, Refreshing

See it if You want to be unplugged, share an informal intimacy, and watch an actor's passion and charm share the outline of his career.

Don't see it if You are unfamiliar with Shakespeare and expecting a full blown cabaret.

Cliched, Slow, Disappointing

See it if You want to relive the 80's. Concert like staging seems appropriate and there are some good transitions. Act 1 is slow but Act Ii picks up

Don't see it if You want a good story.
