See it if Fan of the original, like the composer.
Don't see it if It’s got really great acting performances but musically I can’t connect with it. As a result It’s just ok. Wouldn’t accept a free ticket.
See it if Love a little profane with your profound.
Don't see it if Prudish or a hooker from Cincinnati.
See it if It's enjoyable if you a fan but don't expect anything groundbreaking.
Don't see it if You aren't fairly intimate with the source material.
See it if Great dancing and a terrific story. Much more relevant than I expected. Cried the whole second act.
Don't see it if Looking for a comfy or banal comedy.
See it if You enjoyed noises off - Monty Python humor, or just enjoy a good laugh. I was literally in pain from laughing. Seriously. It hurt.
Don't see it if You don't like to laugh. If you're already dead inside.
See it if You should enjoy drama and avante garde theatre: this production brought from London features innovative staging and terrific performances
Don't see it if You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Eugene oneills message is powerful, but not if you think of ""Margaritaville" as theatre.
See it if If you want to see Incredible music score done in a completely unique way. The story line is very clever and funny, the show moves well.
Don't see it if You need to have a proper orchestra - but seriously, you don't need it with this group. Humor helps if youre local but it's pretty universal
See it if It was a great night - to see another intelligent comedian's take on the iconic role. It's a work in progress but we enjoyed seeing it.
Don't see it if You're expecting too much based on the film - there are limitations that need more budget to overcome. And nobody is like robin williams.
Also It's the first time the idea has been staged and was only "night 2". T... Read more Read less
See it if if you like intelligent satire and enjoy some thought provoking theatre. And puppets. You gotta like puppets. Funny but not THAT funny.
Don't see it if If you don't like puppets - easily offended - perhaps by puppets. Or expect a serious show. I was actually expecting it to be funnier.
See it if If it comes back - see it. It needs tweaks but was a solid show and the lead was amazing. Good songs & the ending choreography is amazing!
Don't see it if It's a bit slow -w/ stock bad guys. One or two songs were a bit corny and seemed out of place. Still I was shocked it closed.
See it if You enjoy college humor, quirky small casts, euro humor, big ideas on low budget, bizarre, Douglas Adams, Spamalot, Red Dwarf, puns. G-rated

See it if You haven't seen it before: including the movie. It was a solid production and great to hear Allison Luff as Fantine. The orchestra astounds
Don't see it if Want dialogue - hate traditional theatre or operatic styles. There's no dancing. Generally it's a good show for most if you are new to b'way
See it if Like kid themes - although not as inspired as Matilda. Good performance from the leads and kids saves a mediocre score from Andrew Weber.
Don't see it if It's energetic and loud. If you're a traditional fan of Andrew Lloyd Weber you might be disappointed- and it's not to par with his others.
See it if Watching the most recent cast of Noises Off was amazing. Megan Hilty and Andrea Martin were amazing. A lot is happening and moves quick
Don't see it if Have trouble maintaining multi level plots. You could get lost if you're not keeping up. It's not a musical so don't expect that
See it if An interesting concept, risky, but the devil Patrick page steals the show. He was incredible. Slow and a bit choppy I think this could grow.
Don't see it if It's a bit of an experiment, the music is folk Americana and not typical broadway. It's unique and atypical. Skip if you want a formula.
See it if A rock and roll re-image. The costumes are the same but dancing, design and everything else is turned up to "11." Very much a rock concert.
Don't see it if It's loud. So prepare. Also don't go if you didn't like the original - or hate anything that strays from the original. This is different.
See it if If you love satire and irreverent humor. Understand its South Park so it's raunchy yet poignant. I took my 12 yr old and she roared laughing
Don't see it if It's pure satire which requires to be a bit juvenalian so it gets a bit rough. If you're easily offended don't bother to see it.
See it if Enjoy riveting performance - sure it’s not Harvey but it’s damn good. Mercedes Ruehl is also a treat on stage.
Don't see it if Midwestern prude
See it if You won’t see a better cast- ever. Just so many award winners onstage reveling in masterful content and brilliantly delivered. Gr8 message.
Don't see it if Have a short attention span. It has great story arcs that are disturbing so if you want a 90 minute spoof like others here this isn’t for u
Also Having read the 2015 script I have to strike fiercely back at the peop... Read more Read less
See it if You love Michael Moore and dislike conservative BS. Moore still a bit unpolished though and I'm a big 25 year fan.
Don't see it if You're conservative. Small warning, I love Moore but very little satire or real solutions presented here. Hoped for more.
See it if It's a work in progress. I think the lead was awesome but the rest of the show and cast is not ready for prime time. Musically dull.
Don't see it if You expect polish or broadway quality production. It's very much like an ambitious local theatre production.
See it if You like Tim Minchin, clever stories, innovative staging and want to be blown away by Andy Karl. He's just brilliant as it the entire show
Don't see it if You expect to see bill Murray - or you're expecting something mild and PG. it's a solid pg 13 rating.
See it if Lots of stories being told and you need serious active listening skills. Be ready to enjoy some innovative storytelling. Ending needs edit.
Don't see it if You can't be passive and enjoy this...listen carefully and dig in! The singular "adult" character is added late and isn't needed.

Don't see it if If you have autistic family members it might be overly stimulating.
See it if You enjoy watching subtle humor and not so subtle destruction of a family. It's real folks. And the performances are sublime. Intense.
Don't see it if You want a happy story - light entertainment or a musical.
See it if It's camp and you enjoy camp. Good non serious entertainment and if you love the 70's. Good individual performances and clever acting.
Don't see it if It's a bit cliche but then again that's part of the comedy. Some of he jokes were flat and I frankly felt bad. But 2nd act made me smile.
See it if Love great writing with small but energetic cast. Small theatre and intimate setting puts the audience right in the middle. Very "real" feel
Don't see it if Looking for big budget productions. As an audience member you can't hide. It's very intimate and absorbing. Enjoy!
See it if It's a tremendous score and Jeanne mueller is amazing. Great storyteller.
Don't see it if Not sure who wouldn't like it - unless you dislike musicals: but it's not edgy and the characters are a bit stock. But still well done.
See it if You love the original story or are a fan of fantastic songwriter Gary Barlow. Great staging and the boys were great - much like Take That.
Don't see it if You want a strict following to the original story - it takes its own journey. Some people have disliked Barlows music score.
See it if Good singing and good dancing are the redeemers here: the staging and show is otherwise tired. I wonder how it keeps selling seats.
Don't see it if You've seen it before. Nothing new to see. Move along.
See it if Old fashioned charming presentation but with tremendous stage design and wonderful performers. I would have been bored without their talent.
Don't see it if Looking for something edgy. This is sweet and charming - nothing new. Just great singers and actors.
See it if It's one of the greatest stories of the American stage and it was uniquely presented. Ciaran Hinds and The entire cast are masterful.
Don't see it if I really expected a fresher directing approach especially with the director. Could have been better. Don't see if you have already seen B4.
See it if Good re-telling of an original movie. Harvey and Cyndi did a great job - it's fresh and fun. The soundtrack is amazing.
Don't see it if If youre the governor of North Carolina-and dislike anything trans or gay. However it's tasteful and pretty appropriate for almost anyone.
See it if Want to be thoroughly moved. This show is touching but also will gut punch you. Prepare to have major feels. Original lighting and music.
Don't see it if You are uncomfortable with issues of modern families face - particularly concerning if you struggle with gay themes. My 11 year old loved it
See it if Everyone but especially people who love other Roald Dahl stories like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This is a very hip re-imaging!
Don't see it if You don't care for loud noises or potentially have PTSD concerns about some child abuse issues. Some sad moments that might trigger emotions
