Don't see it if you get bored easily (the first act can feel slow at times, although it's sweet, the second act is more action-packed)

See it if honestly I saw it with the original cast, I have no idea if it's still just as good, but if you enjoy comedy, go and see it.

See it if you love big chorus numbers, with lots of tap dancing and costume changes! Also if you love old movie musicals such as the one it's based on
Don't see it if you are looking for a fresh, modern style of plot. This is stylish, but slightly cheesy old-fashioned fun.
See it if you are happy to be dazzled by pretty dancing and are interested in why it was such a hit in the 80s (if too young at the time for example)
Don't see it if you are looking for a strong/modern/edgy plot, it's a fairly light plot structure around the singing and dancing
