See it if you like outrageous. First 45 min very very funny. Black/white (ish) relationships. Original, different. Excellent acting. Interesting sets.

Don't see it if you are easily offended by race, slavery etc. plays. Long play, no intermission. Very raw, some nudity, but extremely funny. Not for all.

Also second half at therapy session too long, should be cut.

Don't see it if you want an exciting drama. This is slow, almost three hours, all talk, little action. Well done but tedious.

Don't see it if you want a plot. Man and woman meander around desert-like land looking for somewhere to sleep. Lots of yelling. Nothing much happens.

Also Seems like a copy of Waiting For Godot, but nearly as good.

Absorbing, Edgy, Intense

See it if You like serious but fun, tough yet tender, twists and turns, super acting. Not realistic but truthful. Ethan Hawke excellent. Great set.

Don't see it if Violence upsets you. Basically a two person play (although 4 characters). Not a typical plot, little joy. Intense.

Also The lighting is superb. One of Shepard’s better plays.

Also Two and a half long long hours. A few funny bits, but not enough.

See it if you want a feel good story. About Blacks but not racially oriented. Jay Mazyck is only 19, plays the lead, is excellent! Set is marvelous.

Don't see it if you dislike contrived plots which this is. But the acting and sets make up for this.
