See it if You haven't experienced Nathan Lane onstage yet and really enjoy the tropes of farce.
Don't see it if You're made uncomfortable by outdated sexism, or don't want to wait most of two acts for the best part of the play to make it onstage.
See it if You want to see a small character-centric show about cross-cultural connection.
Don't see it if You want to see something big, flashy, or heavy on plot.
See it if You want a fringe/black box theater experience on Broadway from a masterful veteran performer.
Don't see it if You're not in the mood for philosophy on the nature of language and consciousness.
See it if You want to experience Sondheim at the height of his melodic and lyrical powers.
Don't see it if You hate violence or implications of gore.
See it if You like Alison Bechdel's book. A very good adaptation, and in some cases an improvement on the original.
Don't see it if You want something completely fluffy. I wouldn't call the show heavy, but there are dark elements.
