See it if I was pleasantly surprised at this show. Dylan’s music was cleverly woven thru-out. Superb singing voices. Mare Winningham played a fun part
Don't see it if It’s not spectacular and it’s not glitzy or showy. It’s not, in my opinion, a Tony winner. But, it was a solid show and I left smiling.
See it if Busch is a master at comedic timing! Purposely over-dramatic, campy, 1930s movie style. Strong cast. Charles Busch is captivating.
Don't see it if If you like traditional musical theatre with traditional acting, this is so not for you.
See it if you love Marisa Tomai. The show is done well, but Marisa could have done a one-man show. She is Serafina! Interesting set, other actors ok.
Don't see it if you hate Tennessee Williams or if you are looking for a heavy, thought-provoking play. This is light and does not ask a lot of the audience.
See it if engaging, emotion packed life stories told through song, dialogue & dance. Captivating & thought provoking.
Don't see it if you are expecting a traditional Broadway show with obvious begin, mid & end. This show really draws you in as you flow thru the characters.
See it if You like amazing big, bold singing voices, intelligent writing, & a different way to look at human issues. This show had me within minutes.
Don't see it if You you don’t like musicals or intelligent theatre.
See it if you want a whole new perspective on what you think the word "slave" means. Mesmerizing acting, fast-paced, clever, witty & surprising.
Don't see it if you don't like to think or question your own long-held beliefs. This is not a sappy song and dance play.
See it if you want to see an old story told through new eyes. Great writing, singing & acting. Riveting, romantic–you will laugh & you will cry.
Don't see it if There is noting negative to say. This is a great show. Go see it!
See it if This is "traditional Broadway" if that's what you like. Lots of glitter, flashy costumes, big set, acting is big and over the top.
Don't see it if It was all flash and no substance. I felt the characters were weak. Karen Olivio was mis-cast. Beautiful set and costumes, that's about it.
See it if Laura Linney once again emotionally & physically throws herself into the role so that she completely controls the audience. Captivating!
Don't see it if Unless you stumble into the theatre believing you were seeing a musical, I believe anyone would appreciate and connect w/this poignant story
See it if you like plays that are excruciatingly apropos to today’s political climate. Kushner breaks thru the 3rd wall to help audiences “get it”.
Don't see it if you like happy, non-thinking musicals or shows. Kushner always makes you think, if you don’t want to ponder on this afterwards, it’s not 4 u
See it if you want to be totally captivated & entranced by superb storytelling by Mary Louise Parker. Thought provoking & provocative.
Don't see it if you are looking for a big production with lots of song & dance.
See it if you want a show with heartfelt topics, great writing, memorable songs, innovative set & really good acting. Many songs gave me goosebumps!
Don't see it if you don't want to think or feel any type of emotion. I don't have anything I would change about this show...but I did see it with Ben Platt.
See it if You like predictable schtick and big, glittery productions. Santino Fontana’s performance is the only thing holding up this show.
Don't see it if You enjoy thought-provoking, intelligent theatre. This is minimally entertaining at best.
See it if clever, pertinent, topical plays appeal to you. This is not Angels in America–it's very different. Very good acting, great ensemble.
Don't see it if you are not going to see both shows, it won't make sense. If you don't like intelligent, gay-themed plays, this will not be for you
See it if The bizarre premise of this show is inviting & captivating. Some really good thought provoking topics and character lines.
Don't see it if you are expecting a musical that is non-political and is easy to grasp. The play needed more development. It tried to tackle too much.
