Slow, Funny, Entertaining

See it if You want a good laugh. It’s campy and fun.

Don't see it if You are looking for something deep and moving. It gets a bit preachy.

Excruciating, Confusing, Great singing

See it if You would like to see some great sounding women singing contemporary musical theatre.

Don't see it if It was quite long and the plot didn’t make sense. There were too many different story lines to keep up with it.

Great singing, Overrated, Shoot and a miss

See it if You want to hear some fierce singers singing pop broadway tunes.

Don't see it if You’re expecting to like it as much as the movie. The iconic jokes from the movie fall flat on stage.

Banal, Great singing, Disappointing, Quirky, Slow

See it if You know the music or like Sara Bareilles music. The sings and singing is gorgeous for sure.

Don't see it if You have heard how great this show was, that it was a must-see. I left upset with what I paid for a ticket. A let down.

Ambitious, Great staging, Great singing, Must see, Riveting

See it if You’d enjoy a Disney classic, this is the best Broadway show Disney has ever made. The making of humans into animals exicution is flawless.

Don't see it if You won’t enjoy a show written for a young audience. However I think this show works well for an older crowd as well.

Excruciating, Fluffy, Overrated, Bad writing, Disappointing

See it if you are just looking for a way to entertain your young kids on your vacation.

Don't see it if You loved the original spongebob. They tried to force a plot the whole second act. Everyone who knows SBSP knows the plots are meaningless

Ambitious, Enchanting, Edgy, Great singing, Masterful

See it if You want to see a beautiful love story that is masterful told by some of the best singer-storytellers Broadway has to offer. I’ll see again.

Don't see it if You’ve got young kids? It’s not inappropriate or anything, they just would probably enjoy someone with more grandeur.

Edgy, Thought-provoking, Slow, Dated, Great acting

See it if You enjoyed the movie. And you are interested in seeing another language and culture depicted on the Broadway stage. Half the cast is deaf.

Don't see it if You want to see a spectacle or a big show stopper. It’s very grounded in the world of realism.

80
Absorbing, Great acting, Masterful

See it if You want to see a strong female lead that does whatever she needs to to get what she wants.

Don't see it if You don't like older plays/Great American Classics.

90
Ambitious, Exquisite, Profound, Resonant

See it if You lived through 911. Or if you enjoy an ensemble piece coming together to tell a story. This provoked much thought about that tragic day.

Don't see it if You don't like contemporary music/musicals.

Ambitious, Edgy, Original, Relevant, Great staging

See it if You want to see a show that is changing the way we hear Broadway. Also if you've never seen theatre in the round, the staging is fantastic.

Don't see it if You are uncomfortable with homosexuality or other things of that nature.

Classic, Entertaining, Great staging, Funny, Fluffy

See it if You want to see a feel-good comedy with a modern take on a Broadway classic. The staging was superb, it transitioned so seemlessly.

Great acting, Masterful, Profound, Riveting, Great singing

See it if You want to watch a story being told not only via the actors, but also in the set, lights, staging, and ensemble. Truly a masterpiece.

Don't see it if You are off put by flashy lights and loud sounds. Or if you are hard of hearing. They don't have microphones on.

See it if You are a fan of either of the actors. Their performances are amazing. Also if you enjoy crying, it’s very emotional.

See it if You want to see the coolest thing happening on the Broadway stage right now. Singing and dancing is great, the puppetry is STUNNING.

Wicked (NYC)

Great singing, Great writing, Entertaining, Must see, Riveting

See it if You’ve never seen a show before. This has defined the new age of contemporary Broadway. The staging, costumes, and singing are all brilliant

Don't see it if You are stuck in the golden age of Broadway and think all women should be soprano ingenues with no depth of character.

Disappointing, Excruciating, Overrated, Slow, Boring

See it if You like folk music, or atypical music put into a Broadway show.

Don't see it if This is easily the worst show I’ve seen on Broadway. It was so boring and slow. Many musical numbers felt forced, it should’ve been a play.

70
Great staging, Edgy, Resonant, Absorbing, Intense

See it if You are interested in seeing stories told in unconventional spaces. The show is set in a pie shop at the tables. The music is beautiful.

Don't see it if You don’t like dark tragedies. The Sweeney I saw was quite lackluster, but I think there is a new cast now, so I can’t speak to that.

75
Quirky, Funny, Ambitious, Rockin’, Great singing

See it if You want to see the wildly talented future generation of Broadway is going to hold. Those kids are wildly talented!

Don't see it if You didn’t like the humor of the movie. Or if you don’t like Webber’s style of music.

Entertaining, Quirky, Enchanting, Delightful, Great singing

See it if You like Disney/Disney Broadway. The spectacle is stunning (lights, costumes, set). The singing is unreal. Liked it better then the film.

Don't see it if it’s based on a Disney movie for children. So you basically know if you’ll like it based on the genre.

95

See it if You want a visually beautiful piece that is a nice princess story. Great for kids. And pay for the good seats, otherwise you won't see much.

Don't see it if You are a big fan of the film. They changed so much of it, including the plot line.

60
Great staging, Edgy, Slow, Ambitious

See it if You want to see something interesting unlike anything else on Broadway.

Don't see it if You like traditional shows. This show has a lot of issues, from the seating, to the inability to understand the music, to the dull storyline

See it if You want to see Carmen Cusack rip your heart right out of your chest. A well deserved Tony nomination for best actress.

Don't see it if You're looking for Steve Martin's usual comedy. The book is the biggest fault in the show. It should have workshopped longer before Bway
