Don't see it if You're looking for a show for young children.

See it if you enjoy extravagent lighting, you just want a good laugh.

Don't see it if you're younger than 13, you're expecting a moving story, you don't like crude humor.

Must see, Masterful, Great staging, Absorbing

See it if You don't mind a story told almost entirely through song, you like rap, etc etc. Come on, it's Hamilton, you need to see it.

Don't see it if You can only enjoy Golden Age-type musicals, you can't sit through long shows.

Must see, Riveting, Great acting, Clever

See it if You want to see a fresh perspective on Shakespeare, you like alternative staging, you appreciate how powerful/impactful women can be.

Don't see it if You don't want to see gore/violence, you like straight Shakespeare with no frills, you're not familiar with Macbeth.

Thought-provoking, Slow, Great singing, Cliched

See it if you enjoy a sublter type of musical theatre, you enjoy the music of Pasek and Paul.

Don't see it if you want a realistic story about mental health, you don't like musicals with a modern setting, you need a realistic set.

Entertaining, Funny

See it if You like improv comedy, you understand theatrical clichés.

Don't see it if You resent audience participation.

Intense, Great staging, Great singing, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if you don't mind most of a story being told through song, you like non-traditional staging, you appreciate good lighting and scenic design.

Don't see it if you need a perfect ending "topped with a bow", you need a linear storyline, you prefer spectacle over substance.
