See it if People concerned by the rise and spread of Fascism in the United States will appreciate this look at 1930s Weimar Germany and rise of Nazis.

Don't see it if People who are put off by an author revisiting an old play to try to "fix it" may be disappointed.

Thought-provoking, Intense, Edgy, Dizzying, Ambitious

See it if Ivo van Hove's "sequel" to The Man Who Fell to Earth is a fever-dream framed by Bowie songs. Full freak-out that Bowie died during the run.

Don't see it if It can be quite a muddle for people not used to Hove's multi-media stylizations.

See it if Sweeney is a masterpiece from Sondheim. See any production when you get a chance. This off-broadway version in a pie shop was terrific!

See it if Suzan-Lori Parks' smashing play examines the poison of racism with unambiguous clarity. David Diggs is an insomniac trapped in its shadow.

Don't see it if If a person is uncomfortable about self-examination, they might want to avoid this.

See it if The best Vanya I've ever seen. One of Chekhov's 4 major plays, this is a profoundly human story of regret that is emotionally shattering.

Underwhelming, Clever, Slow, Quirky, Indulgent

See it if The sets and performances are fine. Would appeal to people who like Paris and whimsy.

Don't see it if It doesn't quite hold together. The score is not that impressive, and demonstrates the difficulty of translating a foreign film to B'way.

See it if At first you worry about how will they pull this subject off. Then, as the story unfolds, it packs an unforgettable emotional wallop.

Don't see it if I can't imagine anyone not liking this show. Maybe people with no heart at all.

See it if This is a family-friendly musical with an extremely talented and energetic cast.

Don't see it if This is a show geared toward children and young adults, so curmudgeons might not have patience for it.
