Don't see it if You are looking for something deep and serious

See it if You like your comedy sharp, astute and witty. This is Bruce Norris to a T and new territory for Michael Greif. Refreshing and relevant.

Don't see it if You're expecting something typical and normal. This is strange and delightful.

Also The cast and writing are top-notch and this is some of the best theatre in NY we'll see this year. I saw it on first preview and its only going to get better, hence my score is based on where the show will go. See it if You want a good laugh and are open to a completely different style of performance told from the heart with chai and samosas

Don't see it if Aren't open minded to other cultures

See it if you are interested in the times we live in, a desire to understand people, that many are in denial about & what moves them to action

Don't see it if you don't have the patience or gall to face the truth of intolerance within and without

See it if Want to see actors of extremely high calibre perform a period piece, very very well (w/ the exception of Michael Benz, who is still v. good)

Don't see it if You don't like period pieces. Like plays that are short and sweet.

See it if You enjoy political satire and like to laugh. These actors are at the top of their game!

Don't see it if You dislike humor. Aren't a fan of farce

See it if Mentalist/Illusions are your thing. No one does it better.

Don't see it if You are a cynic. Theater is about suspension of disbelief. This is no different.

See it if You enjoy the design elements of theatre; sound, set, lighting etc. Excellent physical performances. David Costabile's use of language.

Don't see it if If you dislike expressionistic storytelling. Miked performances annoy you.

See it if A few decent moments between actors saves the show. Great music. (Only got to see Chokher Bali, can't speak for Devdas)

Don't see it if As a director you can't stand inexperienced almost overindulgent direction.

See it if You want delicious Shakespeare. Sublime interpretation and use of verse by actors leaves you breathless. Mesmerizing direction and staging.

Don't see it if You won't appreciate dexterous language and an immersive experience

See it if You accept surface storytelling that comments on the worlds of these characters and their emotions rather than allow us to invest in them

Don't see it if You expect to be emotionally charged and immersed into specific themes of loss, grief and rejection

See it if You like "takes" on Shakespeare

Don't see it if You're precious about Shakespeare being done one way

See it if You want relatable funny theatre

Don't see it if You don't want to have a good time

See it if You want to be taken in to another world culturally and emotionally

Don't see it if You're into run of the mill theatre

See it if You're into truthful, honest acting - so absorbing that it outweighs the plays other flaws

Don't see it if Poor accents push your buttons Have no patience for a more sustained tempo

See it if You enjoy losing yourself in a performance and relish intensity
