See it if You are a James Lapine fan. I found the story weak and not compelling. I didn't care about the characters or LSD trips. Actually bored.

Don't see it if You want to see a compelling story and excellent music.

See it if you admire terrific sets. This unforuntaley sums up the play: weak writing and acting. But the sets are magnificent.

Don't see it if So disappointed in this production. Boring and slow, the play deserved to be provocative and edgy. Actors looked lost and did not connect.

Don't see it if you don't like musicals. No reason not to see it except as with all Broadway musicals it's expensive.

Don't see it if you want to see a coherent and fully realized one woman show. The actor forgot her lines, the story incoherent and the direction sloppy.

See it if you admire the acting of Sir Anthony Sher. He is truly magnificent (if not a bit too young) as Lear. RSC actors are a treasure.

Don't see it if you want clear direction. The Fool and Lear also lacked emotional connection. Storm scene underwhelming. This is the full version and long.

Don't see it if you dislike profanity. I'm no prude but this felt gratuitous. The first act is much stronger than the second. Outdated and a little silly.
