See it if have never seen a production of the show before. It is worth the trip to Queens. I was very moved. The cast is terrific.
Don't see it if are looking for light entertainment. Don't want to be challenged to think. It's Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori so it's not for dummies.
See it if you have never seen this play. It's a wonderful play. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Don't see it if Just see it. Anyone who has a serious interest, or high intellectual expectations for the theatre they choose to see will enjoy it.
See it if you want to see some really amazing young performers in a wonderful new play. It's not a perfect piece, but it is well worth your time.
Don't see it if Don't want to see a play that deals with gay young men. There is no reason not to see this if you like good theatre.
See it if Like French Restoration Comedy and David Ives being "clever"
Don't see it if want to sit through a nonsensical plot, with some great acting. It was fun, but not a great piece of theatre
See it if You want to see Allison Frasier deliver an actual tour de force.
Don't see it if are disturbed by the deeply disturbed. There are some seriously messed up things going on here. Don't bring a child. Or a teen.
See it if you want to see a really odd musical mixing things that shouldn't really be mixed
Don't see it if have another option of something else to see. If it's between this show and another show, pick the other show.
See it if want to see a theatre piece that is quite unique and ultimately quite heartbreaking and human
Don't see it if don't want to see a simulated naked woman (for a fair amount of time). Some people left at intermission
See it if love Spoon River. The adaptation which played live outdoors at Green-Wood Cemetery was much better. Probably the best I have seen.
Don't see it if are a real Spoon River Fan. The adapter rewrites poems, changes relationships, adds characters. Literary liberty is fine, but this too much!
See it if you are very patient. It's slow. Nothing really makes sense.
Don't see it if Want to see a show that is well written. It's not. It's slow and never makes any cohesive statement.
See it if Want to see a very good production of a play not produced very often. Rebekah Brockman is perfectly cast in a breakout role.
Don't see it if Want to see a modern, edgy play. It's a period piece. It didn't seem dated to me. About 20 mins too long. The 2nd act is as long as first.
See it if You want to see four amazing actors. Like short shows. Like thought provoking theatre without all the answers. Fan of Albert Einstein.
Don't see it if Want a tidy plot. At first I Thought there was something "more" I was missing. I came to the conclusion, there isn't. It is what it you see.
See it if you want to see Frank Langella's wonderful performance.
Don't see it if the rest of the cast was oddly not so good. I found my mind wandering. It's not as well written or layered as The Other Place.
See it if like theatre that bores you into sleep. you like to hear really poorly done accents that were distracting. Like dull scripts.
Don't see it if are looking for T Shreiber's productions with his usual standards. Hot l Baltimore was great. This was a big disappointment.
See it if are bringing a 15 year old girl to the theatre. You are a fan of the movie, which I am not.
Don't see it if don't want to be help captive in a theatre listening to what sounds like the same song played over and over
See it if You love Follies. This is a perfectly respectful production. It has a Community Theatre feel to it,but a lot of heart -sincere performances
Don't see it if Don't understand the history behind what the Follies were. You don't want to maneuver the trains and have a long, long walk to the theatre
See it if want to see a lovely, graceful new play that is similar in tone to Brighton Beach Memoirs
Don't see it if Don't like Italian American themed plays, don't like old fashioned themes.
See it if have been waiting to see a production of Raisin like me. if you want to support, or have never seen an APAC Show. They are always of value
Don't see it if There in no reason not to see this unless you don't like Musicals. Especially one that is based on such a perfect play.
See it if Want to see the definitive production of this play. You will never see a better production of it.
Don't see it if Really don't like heights. The audience is at an extreme rake.
See it if You want to see a magnificent performance by Michael Emmerson.
Don't see it if You don't like theatre that is different. It's very much a stream of conscience monologue, which I don't usually like. This was mesmerizing
See it if want to hear some amazing singing. The play around the songs is pretty weak. You wait for the next song, but it's worth the wait.
Don't see it if Are expecting a good play. Would have been a better concert without the play. It would have scored it a 95 if the book had been better.
See it if you have never seen "Baby". It has some wonderful music in it, and the book is decent. Some good moments but an amateur production.
Don't see it if want to hear great singing or good actors. Really poor casting choices. NYC has much more talent that this. Dull, uninspired direction.
See it if Love musicals! The more musicals you know the funnier it is. It's very funny. The song "A Musical" is worth the entire ticket price. Go-laugh
Don't see it if Can't laugh at corny jokes. A big, splashy production. It's very difficult to not enjoy this. It never rises to "A Musical" in Act One again
