See it if You like Fantastic writing, Queer narratives, Howard’s End, emotional shows, and want to see a gem.
Don't see it if You have very young children - it is long & more of an adult show. Queer or not - it’s a fantastic show that will pull your in.
See it if you love jukebox musicals, gorgeous re-created costumes, and Cher's nostalgia above all else. You can feel Cher's hand on this show.
Don't see it if it tries to be self-defeating at moments but not too self-defeating as to give a blemish. I felt like it's a commercial for her new tour.
See it if you like contemporary takes on shows - they really push the envelope & bring some of the difficult themes to the front of the show.
Don't see it if you want to be reminded of the traditional OK! show - treat this like a fresh show & you'll be very happy with the result.
See it if you want to explore the connections of the US (Appalachia) and Scotland, and the performers are wonderful! Music is outstanding.

Don't see it if you are looking for a huge spectacle - this show is more low key but touching
See it if Behind the scenes look inside a theater, immersive, contemporary but you can follow it easily
Don't see it if You walk/stand the entire time, it's more performance than theater to me, and it's immersive so ensure you're ok with this point
See it if Great dancing, quirky music, a pleasant show that's a lot of fun if you can just love it for what it is. Come on it's Cats - have fun!
Don't see it if You dislike Andrew Lloyd Webber, theater is very dimly lit the entire time, story line is abstract
See it if You want to laugh, enjoyed the movie, and don’t read too hard into gender politics. Polished show.
Don't see it if You expect the dated plot to come to a fair interpretation of gender equality. It’s a funny show but I’m not writing home about it.
See it if you're bringing a child to the theater for the first time because the puppet is COOL
Don't see it if bring earplugs due to loud speakers - particularly for kids - my ears rang after, cliched, it just misses the mark everywhere but w/puppet
See it if you want to Laugh, like character development, and want to see a fresh take on theater
Don't see it if you want a single theme as a take-away. Every person I talked to identified w/a different character & maybe that's the point.

Don't see it if It's very serious but charming, and I think it's best that everyone sees this show
See it if Fosse choreography is stunning, it's a classic show that helped define modern musicals & the NY version sets the bar high.
Don't see it if you're in the mood for something current. While still relevant, this version (rightfully) could feel dated to some.
See it if You grew up in the Bronx, like traditional theater shows, or like the actors because they do a great job in their roles
Don't see it if You like contemporary theater because it is somewhat traditional, parts of the story felt a little forced, no special effects
