See it if you want to laugh really hard and escape for a little while. If you are looking for a fun date night that guy's guys will totally enjoy.

Don't see it if you have no sense of humor

See it if Wow - there is something VERY special going on right now at the York. If you love emotionally resonant storytelling that packs a punch.

Don't see it if you don’t like musicals. This tells a rich, worthwhile, universal story despite its specificity (two gay men).

Also I knew it was about a gay couple in the 60s so assumed this would feel... Read more Read less

See it if you love new musicals, you love to laugh, and/or if you are looking to do something fun with family (tweens+). Not yet perfect but delight.

Don't see it if you don't like to laugh, you hate anything with a sci-fi component, or you seek straight play drama. Or if you can't handle fringe feel.

Also I can't wait to see if the creative team can "elevate" this for Bway i... Read more Read less

See it if you want an event of a theatrical experience. Buckle your seatbelt!

Don't see it if conceiving children is a topic that hits too close to home. This play is about so much more than just getting pregnant, however.

See it if you either want to be reminded of or share in someone else's frustration of the post-college dating world. If you like Singles, Girls, SATC.

Don't see it if you aren't that interested in theater about first-world problems, or if you get annoyed with prolonged examples of self-pity.

See it if you love historical fiction, heavily ground in nonfiction, with amazing costumes and sets and two major stars of the stage. Amazing!

Don't see it if you don't care about Rubenstein vs Arden. But even then, there are a lot of universal truths here offering humor and heart.

See it if You love musicals, or stories set in old Hollywood. You want to see Glenn. She sings really well, I had no idea!

See it if You want to see a phenomenal cast and crew take on this story. You don't mind investing a bit early on to stay on the train. It's worth it.

Don't see it if You don't like straight plays, or you prefer a comedy or less intense story, or you don't like getting emotional at theater (???).

See it if You want one of the most thrilling nights in New York theatre right now. You want to see for yourself what the fuss is about. Fantastic!!!

Don't see it if You inherently don't enjoy Sondheim or the material. But even then... I actually felt lucky to be in that little room. Oh and it's scary!
