See it if I got to see Ramin. He was INCREDIBLE. The staging is worth seeing it again. It brought new life. Excellent "first musical" option too.
Don't see it if You're sensitive to fighting/loud noises. You don't like to cry at theatre. You're over the "British Invasion"
See it if You love Disney and puppets. It's still their best work. Greatest spectacle. The changes they made improve it vs the movie. Sit on the aisle
Don't see it if Maybe if you don't like musicals, are tired of them.
See it if You're a romance nut, like me. Exciting take on a classic story. If you like to laugh. If you love new takes on Austen.
Don't see it if You're a Jane Austen purist. You'll sit there looking for the book and miss the real fun and point of the production. Jane was modern too.
See it if You like all music. Seriously. It was so lovely to know this show actually lived up to its billing. The energy of the cast was phenomenal.
Don't see it if Not for young children. Maybe listen to it first if you struggle with understanding rapped lyrics, but I really have NOTHING BAD. JUST RUN.
See it if You like to be challenged by the shows you see. The difficult content is handled respectfully. David Harrower is a brilliant playwright.
Don't see it if Not for children. Possible trigger warnings for child abuse and sex offenses.
See it if You love musicals and Trey/Matt. Perfect match of those. I didn't rate this higher because of my taste. I totally appreciated the quality.
Don't see it if Definitely not if you're sensitive to political/religious satire. I only laughed aloud at some times. But others were howling.
See it if You love great ensembles, visuals, and inventive use of staging. The choreography should have won a Tony. Very moving, intelligent, theatre.
Don't see it if You prefer traditional plays. You prefer dialogue-heavy plays. You're really unfamiliar with accents.
See it if Its key audience is young women, but families of all ages can enjoy it. It's a lovely, honest, empowering take on the impact of friendship.
Don't see it if You don't take musicals seriously. You find the values of women overrated. You insist on cynicism. You're unwilling to keep an open-mind.
See it if Pretty much everyone should see this. Great acting. The plot is excellent and well written. My 90 is being harsh and picky.
Don't see it if Ok young children, probably not. It's got some mild sexuality in it. But teens, sure.
See it if You love ballet. The supporting cast is really strong. You love Gershwin. It was nice to revisit a classic with a modern twist on the set.
Don't see it if You don't tolerate classic musicals well. You can't get Gene Kelly or the movie out of your head: you won't watch it properly.
