Great staging, Great writing, Great acting, Must see, Funny

See it if you love theatre, comedy and farce. GSP really captured McNally's vision for this play. Set and costumes so NYC. Jokes on target. So fun!!

Don't see it if you can't laugh at theatre people...or if you can't follow fast witty banter. Lot's of silly stuff here but see it and get in on the fun!

See it if Enjoyed the show. Characters were hard to figure out in first act. Were however had there moments of subtle humor.. The young wannabe good

Don't see it if It took till the second act to show plays comedy side. First act too long Needed to do more with the wannabe actor. Could have been funnier

"This uniquely clever comedy is excellently co-directed by Kevin Cahoon and Colin Hanlon. Don't miss it! You'll laugh, and laugh some more at zany, yet relatable happenings...The cast is so convincing in their roles, you'll believe that the opening night party is unfolding in real time. The troupe's comedic timing is nothing less than perfect as they deliver the fast paced dialogue with zingers galore."

"It’s Only a Play is fast and funny. It is a show to lift one’s spirits and revel in the misfortunes of others, no matter how much those misfortunes are of their own making. It is a marvelous, glittery, spinning top of a play, and I urge you to see it. Kudos to the George Street Playhouse for bringing this lively comedy back to the stage!"

"A fine line separates farce from chaos. If you have seen an amateur production of Noises Off, you may have seen chaos. If you see the George Street Playhouse production of It’s Only a Play, you will see farce, and farce well done."
