From the show:

In his first world premiere since the critically acclaimed Spaceman, which earned fellow company member Erin Treadway a Drama Desk Nomination For Best Solo performance, Leegrid Stevens continues to break apart themes of belief and delusion with A Peregrine Falls. Charlie’s daughter, Kailey, returns home with exciting news of a pregnancy but joy quickly turns to dread when facts emerge that paint Kailey’s story in a much darker light. The play explores the power of illusion and why sometimes it’s impossible to see what’s right in front of you.

Must see, Great writing, Absorbing, Crescendos into an intense, gut-wrenching ending

See it if You can handle a play about a pedophile who cons the audience into liking him, initially, just as the victims.

Don't see it if You want a light play that will not disturbingly, poignantly impact on you.

Also This is a subject that needs to be brought to the stage and peoples' c... Read more Read less

Great staging, Great writing, Intelligent, Great acting, Clever

See it if you want a play that challenges the conventions by breaking the fourth wall, and confronts very real contemporary problems.

Don't see it if you want just comedy, though there is humor, nor is there any romance.

Disappointing, Slow, Cliched

See it if some good actors struggle the heavy handed interpretation of the material. There is mystery but is gets gummed up in the works. Too bad...

Don't see it if Family f*&^king each other up to explain motivations is rehash. Been done better with so many other plays that winds up a drag of an evenin

Intense, Great acting, Great writing, Profound, Absorbing

See it if you enjoy beautiful writing and some of the best acting happening downtown this year.

Don't see it if you're looking for a comedy. This is heavy stuff. But completely worth it. A powerful evening

"Clocking in at two hours/two acts/four scenes, it moseys between three locales: a Texas hospital, a hospital court, and a car dealership. Along the way, it makes a surprising avian/automotive connection, all while hatching the story of how abuse stuns and wounds a family, collectively and indivi...
