About the show

The Wooster Group takes on one of the greatest figures in 20th century avant-garde theater: the iconic Polish stage director Tadeusz Kantor (1915-1990). More…

Joining the Group as guide and dramaturge is Kantor’s only daughter, Dorota Krakowska. Together they explore Kantor’s penultimate production, 'I Shall Never Return,' and through it, his lifelong obsession with the myth of the return of Odysseus.

Absorbing, Ambitious, Exquisite, Confusing, Experimental

Ambitious, Avant garde, Great staging

See it if You appreciate avant- garde, absurdist, mixed media performance pieces.

Don't see it if You don’t have an appreciation for avante garde absurdist aesthetic.

Ambitious, Great sound design, Indulgent, Slow, Thought-provoking

See it if You like absurdist theater performed by a committed group of actors.

Don't see it if You need a play to make rational sense.
