Delightful, Funny, Great acting, Great singing, Great writing

See it if You like clever, funny musicals with characters who charm, a story that resonates, and songs that bring smiles and wistful recognition.

Don't see it if You want something big and splashy; this is a musical with heart - where the music and the characters touch you, but without spectacle.

Tuneful, delightful, great singing, lots of fun

See it if you like small shows with big voices. The cast of four won me over! Also, sets and costumes perfectly captured the 50s and 60s.

Don't see it if you can't abide by cliches, no matter how much zest goes into them, or if you have no interest in the women's movement.

Entertaining, Cliched, Refreshing

See it if You enjoy entertaining musical comedy with a touch of poignancy.

Don't see it if You are annoyed by predictable resolution of moderate (slightly overblown) conflict.

Don't see it if If you are not up for a bit of nostalgia or light feminist commentary, wrapped in bouncy musical numbers. Read more
