Clever, Great acting, Great staging, Relevant, Resonant

See it if you enjoy a different approach to a great book ( a classic in my view) Some may describe it as a dance (very effective)

Don't see it if you do not want to be reminded of the effects of war. Warning: seats at Soho Playhouse not great re: sight lines

Absorbing, Intelligent, Resonant, Thought-provoking

See it if Minimal staging where the actors are the focus. Intelligent and concise writing. Drama tinged with moments of humor.

Don't see it if The small theater will make you feel uncomfortably part of the war. Loud outbursts of sound.

Absorbing, Edgy, Great acting, Masterful, Intense

See it if Very little set and scenery; the 5 actors are the focus of the stage; very intense, touching on the fundamental inhumanity of war.

Don't see it if You dislike realistic, disturbing theater that asks universal questions about human nature that have no easy answer. Definitely not light.

Dizzying, Absorbing, Intense, Thought-provoking, Great staging

See it if you are a fan of the book, or if you want to experience the essence of theatre: a few actors creating an entire world on a stage.

Don't see it if you can't take the dramatic choreography and pantomime seriously, or if you would be triggered by scenes of war, gunshot sound effects, etc.

See it if you like short, related vignettes about the harsh realities of war

Ambitious, Intense, Relevant, Original, Great staging

See it if You're interested in a shortform play with ambition physical theater components on the topic of young men at war

Don't see it if You want a super polished professional experience. This was a little rough around the edges but overall an interesting experience.

Ambitious, Great acting, Great staging, Intelligent, Thought-provoking

See it if You enjoy phenomenal young actors portraying multiple roles, with a minimal set (five crates), a lot of acrobatics, and a good story.

Don't see it if Their occasional descent into physical metaphor sometimes seems forced or out of place to the beautiful story they have created.
