Don't see it if If one man shows are not your thing and 1940’s- 1970’s history is not important to you.

Also I didn't appreciate this show until I understand what it was. Rick Miller is a Canadian who is a talented impersonator/voice actor/singer. He combines those skills with very creative staging to reflect on the mood and events of 1945 - 1969, as witnessed through the eyes of people close to him. See it if You r a baby boomer & want to take a fast, energetic trip thru music, politics , history of your era w/a very skilled performer.

Don't see it if You expect an in-depth look at this time period. It’s like a time capsule- snippets of the past. Although a 1 man show he play many parts.

See it if You are interested in history, particularly ‘45-‘69, appreciate one handlers, and like the music of the boom generation.

Don't see it if You don’t like one man shows, don’t like documentary theatre

See it if You enjoy original well-written and performed one-man shows.

Also I loved this show so much. It is hard to describe the concept, but if you are at least 18 years you will appreciate it. It is simultaneously a personal biographical story of how Mr. Miller came to be, i.e. the history of his parents and a third character that he includes as a 3rd personal & historical perspective. After two wonderfully entertaining hours, you will reach a point when you will know a lot more about how a Canadian woman, an American man and an Austrian man’s lives intersected that resulted in his conception, his birth and his wonderfully talented life as a performer. A wonderfully personal story framed by world events between 1945 and 1969, when he was finally conceived. And...wait for it....told, sung and channeled through myriad popular characters and public figures we all recognize and know about. See it if you don't mind being asked to sing along to American Pie. You like impersonations. As a love letter to RM's mother, this is rather sweet.

Don't see it if you have no interest the the Baby Boomers. The piece is too long and needs cutting. A letdown after MacHomer.

See it if you cut history class, haven’t read a newspaper & need to know what’s been happening in the world for the last 80 years. Interesting staging

Don't see it if you’re expecting a musical representing the last 80 year’s. The singer tries hard to imitate the great Pop singets, but rarely succeeds.

See it if You want a very superficial be man show with a talented leading man.

Don't see it if You want a coherent well edited show.

See it if You want to see a kaleidoscopic journey of the boomer years interweaving music, news clips, and the lives of three people of that period.

Don't see it if You want a conventional play. Enjoyed this show which combined history of the times with personal stories. Impressive talent.

See it if You like 1 man shows with a multitude of different personas portrayed and multi-dimensional with video, dialogue and music.

Don't see it if You like an ensemble cast or don’t want to hear the performers take of his parents views of the baby boomer generation.

Also I thought the actor was quite clever in utilizing video, a number of costumes to portray different people relevant to the baby boomer generation, and provided interesting snippets of history throughout the production. I cannot set aside my disdain that on three separate occasions during this performance the actor gave us his personal political views and it took so much away, basically ruining an otherwise clever and delightful performance. See it if Trip down memory lane for Boomers. Very fast pace. Rick is extremely ambitious tracing historical events, with famous singers and family.

Don't see it if Got confused with too many characters that he creates. Not all New Yorkers know much about Canada. Some audience left during intermission.

See it if You like a history lesson, I wasn't expecting it. Actor is very good, and presentation was good (as was music), but it fell flat for me

Don't see it if You're expecting a particularly witty or funny 1-man show (as I was)

See it if you were born after 1945 and was a Baby Boomer. You like to reminisce about the 50's and 60's.

Don't see it if You are not a Baby Boomer, so the events and songs of those times don't have relevance to you.

See it if you enjoy original explorations of an historical era through a clever interplay of song video and narrative.

Don't see it if If you don't like one person shows or are not interested in the era of the baby boomers

See it if You are a baby boomer or if your interested in learning about the events that the baby boomers lived through.

Don't see it if If you would rather see a show that deals with current events and if you are not into solo performances.

See it if you like unique, a "Boomer" history lesson in music and politics, great projection design/staging, great performance and impersonations.

Don't see it if you don't like one man shows, although it was like watching more than a dozen characters perform, the energy and talent never let up.

Don't see it if you want to see a big, splashy musical. This show is neither big, nor splashy. It is small, and intimate, fast-paced, and fun.
