Absorbing, Relevant, Uneven, Thought-provoking, Resonant

See it if You are interested in a clever show about politics, gun control and religion.

Don't see it if You aren't interested in a play which, though humorous at times, is primarily a serous political statement. Read more

Absorbing, Great acting, Great writing, Relevant

See it if great writing; lead actor was fantastic; relevant topics no matter what side you fall on.

Don't see it if only four actors; 75 minutes; you are closed minded on the issue of gun control

Thought-provoking, Great acting, Relevant

See it if You'd enjoy a political drama set in North Carolina. It's advertised as a serious comedy but I would never describe it as a comedy.

Don't see it if You're not open to hearing political opinions that may differ from yours

Absorbing, Great acting, Great writing, Relevant, Thought-provoking

See it if small cast of empathic actors, enacting a passionate, balanced debate over the role of religion in politics; greatly moving & worthwhile

Don't see it if You dislike heavy political topics (gun violence), even though there was a good deal of comedic relief, well-delivered

Absorbing, Resonant, Relevant, Refreshing, Great writing

See it if you want an edifying look at what compassionate conservatives would be like if they were true to the values they proclaim.

Don't see it if you can't handle some amateur moments. Lead actor was fantastic though and made a script that could be preachy in the wrong hands sing. Read more

Absorbing, Thought-provoking, Resonant, Great acting, Delightful

See it if You want to watch political dramas and care about issues about Christianity in politics and gun violence.

Don't see it if You are a supporter of an orange president. The first half of the play is better than the second half.

Clever, Great acting, Thought-provoking

See it if A fresh look at the politics of religion & sympathetic portrayal of a figure oft-aligned in theater - a Southern Baptist good ol' boy.

Don't see it if you're looking for scathing satire or raucous comedy - this has humor but at its core is a serious & heartfelt look at USA's gun crisis. Read more

Absorbing, Clever

See it if you like to see a character change before your eyes. As moving and powerful an ending as you will ever see.

Don't see it if you enjoy a predictable show or like comedy.
