Ambitious, Funny, Intelligent, Great staging, Enchanting

See it if You want to see some beautiful singing, great acting, and wonderfully subtle choreography that added beautiful depth to the story.

Don't see it if You expect super interesting songs, or a swashbuckling adventure. Peter Dinklage is not a singer, but he tries and his acting is superb.

Depressing, Intense, Great singing, Great acting

See it if you want to see a beautiful musical with a stellar cast. The music is beautiful and Peter Dinklage can really sing!

Don't see it if you do not like depressing shows. The show is absolutely tragic and leaves you feeling sad.

Superb and fun ensemble cast performance!, A new musical destined to become a favorite, A wickedly ingenious choreography that will deceive your eyes, A live cinematic experience, A new cyrano custom-made for the millennial crowd

See it if it's too late for this one, but I recommend catching this new musical iteration of an old classic, if and when it will be staged again.

Don't see it if well-written, acted, sung, choreographed and orchestrated musicals based on an old literary classic are not to your liking. Read more

Bittersweet, Poignant, Great acting, Clever

See it if you're a fan of Peter Dinklage and enjoy a new take on an old classic...with music!

Don't see it if you don't enjoy a new take on an old classic with pretty much, somber music!

"A musical 'Cyrano de Bergerac?' Many have tried, none have succeeded…one wonders what drew everyone to this property, which has been built around a star who is temperamentally unsuited to playing the title role as Rostand conceived it."

3/5 Stars "Modest in scale and mostly melancholy in mood, this musical Cyrano is a faithful, if rather flat, retelling of the story in an indeterminate though obviously bygone period."

"However, for those of us who know the original, the compromises and excisions from the text make it a shadow of its former itself. Don't blame film and television star Peter Dinklage who gives a vigorous performance in the title role.:

"For a play that celebrates the beauty of wooing through meticulously crafted words, both book and lyrics never leave the realm of cue lines…The New Group's 'Cyrano' has the same imposter syndrome as Christian-and seems like it could have been written by him too."
