About the show

In this '80s-set comedy, a man tries to appease his parents by hiring his ten-year-old downstairs neighbor to play his son. After a successful limited run earlier this year, the show transfers Off-Broadway. More…

It is 1982 and Donald Moscowitz has overbearing parents. They disapprove of his choice of profession (actor), his flair for decorating (pastels), and his lifestyle (homosexual). The one thing that would make them happy is a grandchild. His solution: pay the kid downstairs to pose as his son. What could possibly go wrong?

See it if The cast is very fun, and especially the engaging and charming Yuval David in the lead role. It is a show for simple laughs and dated humor.

Don't see it if You don't like a good laugh. It is a simple comedy that could be reworked into something much better...maybe a web-series.

Don't see it if you like a fast show. To Mr. Goldyn, MAKE THE SHOW FASTER. TOO SLOW!! Also, Why is there any intermission? And cut down some scenes.

See it if you want to see alluring actor Yuval David and his chiseled body. Yuval is talented, guides the play, wrangles the loony cast of characters.

Don't see it if You cannot suspend disbelief. This is a fluff piece of theatre, filled with silly jokes & good laughs, with an ok script, and a great cast.

See it if Would like to be entertained. We went 4/9/16, The actors were very good. We thought the drag queen was hilarious. Loved the kid!
