See it if you like a well-acted absorbing drama about 3 brothers impacted by the death of their father, unsure whether he died by suicide or murder.
Don't see it if you can't handle lots of screaming - there is a lot here - or if you don't like dark family dramas.
See it if you want a thoughtful, well-done play about what drives us and the demons we live with.
Don't see it if you want a light show. Also if you don't like a lot of yelling. The characters are rather angry, which can be tough at times.
See it if A story you have seen a version of somewhere before without adding anything new. Nice to see Joe Pantoliano on stage.
Don't see it if Too much shouting takes away from the performances, & the character development. The writing could be tighter & more nuanced to give actors
Also stronger material to work with.
See it if you are a fan of Joe Pantiliano, want to see Alex Mickiewicz' brilliant performance (A MUST SEE), enjoy powerful angst filled dramas.
Don't see it if you don't like gritty dramas, only like musicals or comedies, you don't mind missing Alex Mickiewicz' revelatory mesmerizing performance.
See it if You like Joe Pantoliano and want to see him in an intimate theater setting.
Don't see it if you dislike yelling & shouting. It was a 90 min performance with about 15 minutes of conversation/dialog & 75 minutes of yelling & shouting
See it if You enjoy a play with good acting even when the plot is dated, totally expected, with no surprises. Some acting is exceptionally good.
Don't see it if You need plot twists and turns that are not obvious and totally anticipated.
See it if The ghost of Arthur Miller pervades this "old school" play. Kept me interested with seriously flawed characters bordering on "types".
Don't see it if What I mean by the characters being "types" is they embody characters we've seen before in O' Neill plays and other mid century playwrights
See it if Strongly acted drama with elements of Arthur Miller & Dostoevsky grabs you. Brotherly tension, angst & family guilt. Got to go to Broadway!
Don't see it if Family tensions are a problem. Or if you require feel-good happy endings.
See it if great acting in a dark & intense well constructed drama about a family. There are no light moments so if you like drama this is the show
Don't see it if If you like musicals, comedies and fantasy plays, this is NOT your play. This is an exceptionally well acted dark drama about a family.
