Secrets uncovered & violently exposed, 3 troubled bros in dysfunctional family

See it if 1957-set drama on 3 bros, an ex-con, would-be boxer & special needs & gifted "baby" brother who must face how their father died.

Don't see it if you dislike intense plays on tough circumstances, out-of-control emotions, family secrets or 90 minutes w/o intermission. Pantoliano strike. Read more

Great writing, Great staging, Great acting, Absorbing, Entertaining

See it if you like a well-acted absorbing drama about 3 brothers impacted by the death of their father, unsure whether he died by suicide or murder.

Don't see it if you can't handle lots of screaming - there is a lot here - or if you don't like dark family dramas.

See it if Absent Chicago bro returns to reassemble orphaned other bros."Some people got this inside of them and it just makes its way out"Fine acting.

Don't see it if Underneath the angry exasperations is a tender, sensitive drama screaming to get heard. "Broke as a joke, walking around like street meat." Read more

Depressing, but worth it, Great staging, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if you want a thoughtful, well-done play about what drives us and the demons we live with.

Don't see it if you want a light show. Also if you don't like a lot of yelling. The characters are rather angry, which can be tough at times. Read more
