About the show

Primary Stages presents Sharon Washington's autobiographical solo piece, in which she revisits her time growing up in an apartment on the top floor inside the St. Agnes Branch of the New York Public Library. More…

Sharon's father served as the library's custodian. Shrouded in family mystery, Sharon’s story boldly examines how both the power of forgiveness and her lifelong love for the written word have helped her battle dragons of all forms.

Raunchy, Banal, Disappointing, Excruciating, Slow

See it if You want to be bored by a cliched solo play. Writing is a predictable snooze and she is not good enough actress to carry the show.

Don't see it if You fall asleep easily in the theater. Crickets!!!

Also It is just really terrible.

Confusing, Disappointing, Dated

See it if you want to know what it's like to grow up in a library.

Don't see it if you get sad seeing actors flail.
