From the creators of '90210! The Musical!,' 'Katdashian: The Musical!,' and 'Full House! The Musical!,' comes this new unauthorized musical parody of the beloved sitcom about the antics of six young New Yorkers. More…
See Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe like you've never seen them before-- bursting into song, as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life, and love in 1990s Manhattan. Original songs include 'The Only Coffee Shop in New York City,' 'We were on a Break!,' and 'The One Where We Make a Million Dollars An Episode.'
See it if you were a fan of the show; you'll get a kick out of the in-jokes. You'll also enjoy strong, energetic performances. Some laughs/good songs.
Don't see it if you expect consistent cleverness. Many lame, broad jokes. Act II is better than Act I. Could use trimming. Over-mic'ed; lots of yelling.
See it if you are a big fan of Friends, for the nostalgia. If you can get a heavily discounted ticket.
Don't see it if you aren't familiar with the series. I used to watch the show and still missed a lot of jokes ( judging by others' reactions).
See it if You want to see some terrific impressions of the characters (of special note the gal playing Rachel is dead-on and Joey is really good too).
Don't see it if You're looking for a true parody - it's more a synopsis of the show. The jokes are rehashed from the show and it doesn't offer much new.
See it if you have low expectations, being an avid theater goer of large/smaller scale shows I was highly disappointed but there were funny elements.
Don't see it if you don't like parodies, silly theater and expect more than all 10 seasons of Friends retold in 2 hours (FYI I am a Friends' Fan)
See it if You really like Friends and want to see a retelling of it with less funny jokes and bad songs added. You don’t need parodies to be clever.
Don't see it if You really like Friends and don’t need to see a bad parody of it with so-so acting and wasted potential.
See it if You LOVED Friends and LOVE parody. It's good work. Good writing, acting, staging
Don't see it if You want a rich evening of musical theater. I'd have had a more satisfying time watching a few old episodes.
See it if you have familiarity with the show and the quirks of the characters
Don't see it if you need a traditional theater experience. The crowd is expected to be rowdy and drunk, so the overall atmosphere takes on that dynamic.
See it if You loved the series Friends and want to re-experience some of the jokes and scenes.
Don't see it if You did not love Friends or like parodies of it - a retelling of the seasons. Some jokes fell flat.
See it if You really, REALLY like Friends, because there are a lot of inside jokes that some fans in the audience were eating up.
Don't see it if Crude humor isn't your thing.
See it if you're an avid fan of the show and you got cheap tickets.
Don't see it if You're looking for a true parody. The actors did a great job with their characters but the writing needs work. Felt too long at times.
See it if You know every episode of Friends and are amused by the mere recognition of specific memorable moments from the show. The 3 women are great.
Don't see it if You need wit or clever lyrics in your satire & are annoyed by sweaty overwrought performances (not by all the actors, but by more than one).
See it if You know the TV show Friends inside and out and would enjoy some jokes about the show. The actress playing Rachel does a good voice.
Don't see it if You want a show that actually has substance and is at all actually interesting.
See it if you loved Friends, or if you have never seen Friends.
Don't see it if you have seen a few episodes of Friends casually, you don't like explicit humor, you're not big into stereotypes,.
See it if you're a die-hard fan of friends looking to laugh at a twisted version of your favorite show.
Don't see it if you're expecting factually accurate depictions of the characters.
See it if you loved Friends the show. The costuming is so on point it is ridiculous. I swear they used the same exact clothes.
Don't see it if you love Chandler. His character was off or you don't like parodies.
